oxford blue Posted 26 November 2015 Posted 26 November 2015 The Telegraph did a poll of which PL club has the most passionate fans. City came second (behind Sunderland surprisingly). At he bottom 4 were Chelsea, Arsenal, Man city and M United If you want to look through the whole order, it will take 20 clicks http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/competitions/premier-league/12018311/Premier-League-fans-Who-are-most-passionate.html
filbertstreet Posted 26 November 2015 Posted 26 November 2015 what are sunderland passionate about, mass suicide?
CollinsLCFC Posted 26 November 2015 Posted 26 November 2015 Poll must of been taken the day they beat Newcastle 3-0...
Guest Posted 26 November 2015 Posted 26 November 2015 what are sunderland passionate about, mass suicide? They're passionate about flukey goals and crap wing backs
Great Boos Up Posted 26 November 2015 Posted 26 November 2015 To be fair Sunderland have spent the last 4 seasons screaming passionately at the ref to blow the whistle at 75mins at 0 - 0.
johnny the fox Posted 26 November 2015 Posted 26 November 2015 Thought sunderland fans were "passionate" about leaving early after yet another shight showing by there beloved team...
Thommo Posted 26 November 2015 Posted 26 November 2015 Passionate?? Once a month if im lucky....oohh.. wrong forum!!
Nuclear_Greyhound Posted 26 November 2015 Posted 26 November 2015 At least we will be top of the poll next season
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 27 November 2015 Posted 27 November 2015 Sunderland, where the club has to canvas local schools handing out free tickets to get the stadium even half full, and they all piss off home at 60 minutes whatever the score is. Great support
Dan Posted 27 November 2015 Posted 27 November 2015 Sunderland do have passionate fans in my honest opinion but no-one does an early exit like them. Surely they've had to widen the steps to allow more people to fvck off in the 35th minute when the opposition has gone 3 up by now?
Vlad the Fox Posted 27 November 2015 Posted 27 November 2015 Sunderland, where the club has to canvas local schools handing out free tickets to get the stadium even half full, and they all piss off home at 60 minutes whatever the score is. Great support Teacher: Smith, I won't tell you again, STOP pulling the girls hair or I'll...... Vile smith: shut up, you can't touch me or I'll get my dad onto you and you'll get sacked, note you can do like. Teacher: isn't there, well here's some tickets to Sunderland, you and your dad can spend some time there to reflect upon your behaviour. Vile smith: Nooooooooooooooooo, I'll be good like, anything but that like.
MC Prussian Posted 27 November 2015 Posted 27 November 2015 Sunderland and passionate? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! They fail to motivate their fans to create a decent atmosphere regularly and can't even fill their stadium on a weekly basis without special incentives!
SecretPro Posted 27 November 2015 Posted 27 November 2015 Passionate about leaving in the 75th Minute?
Voll Blau Posted 27 November 2015 Posted 27 November 2015 Sunderland always seem to take millions away despite being dirge and living miles from anywhere. Fair play to them.
Fox92 Posted 27 November 2015 Posted 27 November 2015 How are Manchester United near the bottom, they easily have the best away fans in the Country.
Fox92 Posted 27 November 2015 Posted 27 November 2015 Sunderland always seem to take millions away despite being dirge and living miles from anywhere. Fair play to them. I thought exactly this on Saturday. The journey to Newcastle was horrific (as usual) but then I thought both Newcastle and Sunderland have to do this every second week. Both of those clubs always fill out every away end, too.
MC Prussian Posted 27 November 2015 Posted 27 November 2015 Sunderland always seem to take millions away despite being dirge and living miles from anywhere. Fair play to them. Probably because they can't stand living in Sunderland, in dire need of better sights elsewhere.
linemakers Posted 27 November 2015 Posted 27 November 2015 No one works in Sunderland so have loads of time to vote. Then just ask their relations to vote and that's the whole of Sunderland
ashfosse Posted 27 November 2015 Posted 27 November 2015 How are Manchester United near the bottom, they easily have the best away fans in the Country. They have one of the best sets of away fans agreed, but does that make them passionate as a whole? Leeds have the best away support. WYS
Wymsey Posted 27 November 2015 Posted 27 November 2015 I presume it's only based on this and last season? I hope it will continue, and adamant that it will.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 27 November 2015 Posted 27 November 2015 So basically, it's saying we're worse than Sunderland fans.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 27 November 2015 Posted 27 November 2015 I'd certainly say Leeds and Man Utd have the best away followings in the country, but pleased to hear we're rated as the second most passionate set of fans. Our home atmosphere is up there with the best.
