Well it must be said this guy really looks special !

After Claudio he is already in running for manager of year ,

Could Liverpool win the league ?

Being also a BVB fan, even had a couple of drinks with him when he was at Mainz.

He is my favourite european manager.....after Claudio.

He will turn Livetpools fortunes around, but this season, they will still blow hot and cold.

Hoping they are cold when they meet the top of the table foxes...

If he gets Sturridge back this season playing 90% of games from now, they will be title contenders.

Hodgson will have his man, if he stays injury free, Vardy will be struggling to make the plane.

Unless Vardy cracks it and has a great season throughout, then it will come down to him or Kane.

Just a thought to play with your minds.....if one could guarrantee 3 wins from the next 3 games, would you take it if

it meant a 6-1 loss at anfield.

Any day of the week.  9 from the next 12, even if it included a hammering would mean we would have beaten Swansea, Chelsea and Everton.  That would be serious daylight between us and 6th and more than likely a point or two clear at the top still with most of the hard games out the way.

He's a breath of fresh air in the PL, but it's still early days. The press have got togetehr and agreed that he's the new messiah and will blow hot air up his arse until he's been here for a while and then they'll look to slag him off like they have done with Mourinho and all the other characters. He did wonders at Dortmund and I think Liverpool is a perfect fit, who knows what he could achieve given the state of the top clubs in this league right now. It's there for the taking with the backing he'll have.

Fortunately we play them at Anfield where they look distinctively average!!

Personally I think we set up perfectly to play them. During that Palace game (Klopp's only loss) I think Liverpool had 70% possension but created sod all and Palace hit them on the break twice. Sound familiar?

Against teams that go at them, City, Chelsea, Southampton they'll be ruthless and it'll play into Klopp's strategy. At Anfield where they're expected to be dominating they struggle,

I think he'll do a great job and I like him as a Manager. Hopefully they can finish 4th with us a bit higher :)

Was just about to say the same thing, hopefully we can catch them at Anfield before he rectifies their poor home performances, but on the road they have been irresistible.

They are set up better to play away from home.

Watched all the game last night and I must say they were very impressive. Lets not forget Southampton aren't exactly pushovers either. Those first two assists (Allen and Can) were unbelievable.

Having got them fit he's now building confidence and seems to be a terrific man manager. As others have mentioned, he's fresh air to The Premiership and I can only see a major Liverpool revival based on the principles of attacking with pace and imagination. Should be a cracking contest on Boxing Day and I just hope we do ourselves justice.

I don't think they would smash us away like they have Man City and Southampton. We wouldn't give them that much space, not after the Arsenal game anyway. Look at the way we never let Man Utd through us.

Funnily enough we score a lot more goals away from home as well, it's because the home team come at us and leave lots of space for us to exploit.

It's been quite well documented this season that there've been a lot more away wins and goals than usual. Football does seem to be going through a phase where a lot of teams are deadly on the counter.

Bournemouth is the only away game this season that we have failed to score two or more. Incredible really considering we'd only scored one away goal in about seven games by this point last year.

Exactly.

As Dan said above there, more teams set up to counter these days. We're so good at it, and you only have to look at teams like Palace.

I'd like to think you're right. In fact I do think you're right. It may also help that while Ranieri's evolved our attacking philosophy he's also well versed in the defensive qualities so associated with Italian football.

Perhaps we got a glimpse in the Tottenham game and, indeed, against United in the way we nullified almost all but the smallest crumbs of opportunity.

Getting the balance right and dealing with their main threats will be important. But also making sure we enter the game with as much confidence and belief as Liverpool.

It's a concessionary way to think. Why concede anything willingly? It's a title we're after, not an honourable mention.

Also Hull in the cup, both games in which we struggled to counter attack because of the opposition's set-up.

The real question is do you risk Sturridge and gamble on Firmino and Coutinho in your fantasy team?

I've put Sturridge in having taken him out previously. I'll be having a few stern words with myself if it goes sour again...
