Tim'llFixIt Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 I'm buzzing every week, i do so much pre game analysis i might as well be drafted into the backroom staff, i have been a fan since the age of 6 and stuck with the boys in the dark days of league 1 and although you look forward to the games when you're down in the dumps it's not quite like the feeling i'm getting these days, i cannot contain myself recently i have genuine butterflies on match days now every week. if we get champions league i'm calling my firstborn claudio ( if its a girl she will have to grow to love it )
FireFox Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 I think Claudio's daughter is named Claudia, you might want to go with that.

Tuna Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 Here is a question for you all, when was the last time we were on on a monday night sky tv premiership game? Didn't have one last season did we?

Didn't have one last season did we? and hopefully never again, weekend doesn't feel complete without a game of footy on a saturday followed by me re watching the goals on match of the days 10000 times on a sunday
Guest seanfox778 Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 Here is a question for you all, when was the last time we were on on a monday night sky tv premiership game? Didn't have one last season did we? Maybe that 4-0 Leeds game? Would certainly take that again!
Kitchandro Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 Here is a question for you all, when was the last time we were on on a monday night sky tv premiership game? Didn't have one last season did we? Leeds 4-0 2004 I think.
StanSP Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 Waiting for this Monday game has annoyed me . Weekend aren't the same when Leicester don't play on either Saturday or Sunday!
The Doctor Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 We were on Monday night twice more that season, away to Man Utd (lost 1-0) and the 3-2 defeat at Leeds.
Drew Peacock Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 and hopefully never again, weekend doesn't feel complete without a game of footy on a saturday followed by me re watching the goals on match of the days 10000 times on a sunday I'm with you on this. My wife can't understand why I go to the games, then either watch Sky Game Of The Day or Sky Match Choice, also record Match Of The Day and also listen to the Radio Leicester after match podcast for the goals highlights. A bit puzzling what she doesn't understand really.
benpicko Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 I'd be anticipating it if I didn't have to first get through a 4 hour long History exam before watching it
Larry_LCFC Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 Monday night football is wank. No motd coverage is depressing over the weekend.
Guest seanfox778 Posted 13 December 2015 Posted 13 December 2015 We were on Monday night twice more that season, away to Man Utd (lost 1-0) and the 3-2 defeat at Leeds. They were on Setanta or Prem Plus or whatever Sky's rival was at the time.
Livid Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 Hate the Monday night football, absolutely horrid time to kick off. Worst of all the weekends alternatives. Having said that looking forward to the actual game itself.
lgfualol Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 At least the wait for the next game is shorter than usual
CosbehFox Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 They were on Setanta or Prem Plus or whatever Sky's rival was at the time. Prem Plus was owned by Sky
VinceNoir Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 Monday night games are well shit. Saturday was rubbish without Leicester.
weller54 Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 Monday night games are well shit. Saturday was rubbish without Leicester. It was like watching Countdown without Rachel..
Guest Col city fan Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 I missed us not playing Saturday but let's face it, Monday is a shit day. So actually playing this evening gives us something to look forward to. So now it's come round I'm actually glad. Should break the week up a little, kinda thing. ....just thought...I'm 47 and I STILL base my weeks around football!

As above, just feeling a bit Monday morning at the moment. A few city fans at work to chat with, by lunch I should be in the mood.
CharlieCharles Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 Despite the fact im quick to slag off any tv changes that sky do.. i actually quite like MNF as long as we are at home. Aston Villa at 5:30pm is also a bonus for me as well.
Ian W LCFC Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 Monday suits me perfectly, and I quite enjoy evening games too. So I'm quite pleased with this one, but can obviously understand why people prefer the traditional Saturday 3pm. Hoping for a great atmosphere again tonight regardless!
thybluefox Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 I love a night game - and working in town means I just knock off work and walk down to the ground. Sky+ is recording the game at home (Mrs doesn't know that she'll have no TV to watch later as I think I'm recording 2 things....)
Gerard Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 Here is a question for you all, when was the last time we were on on a monday night sky tv premiership game? Didn't have one last season did we? Hopefully we're live on TV every game for our last 5 fixtures. :xmaswink:
