Vardy is now the oldest top tier debutant (at 27) across all clubs to have gone on to score 140 goals since Arthur Chandler, who made his debut at 29 in First Division, and also a City player (Of course, he is City's greatest goal scorer - despite never scoring a penalty.

If Vardy is still with the club and scores after 15 Feb 2026 he will become the oldest scorer!

Vardy has now scored the first goal for the last 6 Leicester managers.

Please name the managers and the games, because I tried to verify this, and couldn't. Does it include the interim managers?

Ranieri

Shakespeare

Puel

Rodgers

Cooper
Ruud

Permanent managers in the PL, so it doesn’t include Smith or Enzo.

That was also Jamie Vardy’s 100th combined goals and assists at the King Power Stadium in the Premier League.

Only the 14th player in PL history to have 100 goal involvements at a single stadium.

Can anyone name the other 13?

Rooney and Giggs I'd assume must be two of them, at Old Trafford.

Shearer at Newcastle.

Henry at Highbury?

Kane at Spurs. Aguero at Man City. Lampard at Chelsea.

You have 6 of them, not a bad start…

It was the puel one... I thought his first game was away at stoke, for some reason!

Can anyone explain how our 7 'big chances' tonight equated to an xG of only 1.39? Surely each big chance must have an xG of at least 0.25 to be classed as a big chance?

Fotmob have us with an xG of 1.67. As far as I can tell, a big chance is > 0.1xG, so really not very big.

Leicester have won six Premier League away games against Newcastle, more than versus any other opponent.

Five of these victories have come in their past seven visits to St James' Park.

For those playing along at home:

Rooney Old Trafford

Henry Highbury

Giggs Old Trafford

Aguerooooo Etihad

Lampard Stamford Bridge

Gerrard Anfield

Shearer St James Park

Bergkamp Highbury

Drogba Stamford Bridge

KDB Etihad

Shearer Elwood Park

Fowler Anfield

Salah Anfield

Vardy King Power Stadium

Not bad company

Shearer making the list twice is impressive. Imagine what he could have won had he moved to Manchester when they wanted him.
