Dan Posted 23 December 2015 Posted 23 December 2015 If he helped them take points off Arsenal and M City he'd be more useful to us than he is now. Correct. Personally not THAT bothered about Villa anyway. Would have a laugh if they went down but they were far more dislikeable under tactics Dim.
Tuna Posted 23 December 2015 Posted 23 December 2015 Imagine if they offered us Agbonlahor in exchange!
Wymsey Posted 23 December 2015 Posted 23 December 2015 Imagine if they offered us Agbonlahor in exchange! I'd be underwhelmed, personally.
VLC86 Posted 23 December 2015 Posted 23 December 2015 Imagine if they offered us Agbonlahor in exchange! Would rather a rusty spanner tbh.
Heymister2015 Posted 23 December 2015 Posted 23 December 2015 I'd like to see us go back in for nemphalys Mendy! If Inler goes
Eastwellfox Posted 23 December 2015 Posted 23 December 2015 Agree with a loan situation and a recall option if he comes good. However I cant see that happening but surely a deal like that would suit us for now. However if we get near to the 5.5 million that we paid then offload.
Rasmic123 Posted 23 December 2015 Posted 23 December 2015 Imagine if they offered us Agbonlahor in exchange! because hes such a proven goalscorer at this level? Seriously, if villa fans think hes not good enough for them, why the hell would we want him
VLC86 Posted 24 December 2015 Posted 24 December 2015 He's got the pace but not a lot else really. Bit harsh on that shit moustache of his.
foxfanazer Posted 24 December 2015 Posted 24 December 2015 because hes such a proven goalscorer at this level? Seriously, if villa fans think hes not good enough for them, why the hell would we want him whoosh

There is no recall option on a PL loan. your squad at the 31/1 is your squad.
Tuna Posted 24 December 2015 Posted 24 December 2015 I don't think anyone got that my Agbonlahor suggestion was tongue in cheek.
MC Prussian Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 I don't think anyone got that my Agbonlahor suggestion was tongue in cheek. Three UAE clubs think differently: Aston Villa's Gabriel Agbonlahor will be allowed to leave next month for £3m - and three clubs in the United Arab Emirates are interested in signing the 29-year-old forward. (Sun on Sunday)
adamm8 Posted 29 December 2015 Posted 29 December 2015 Starting alongside Drinkwater and Kante tonight, final chance to show he has got what it takes?
Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 29 December 2015 Posted 29 December 2015 Starting alongside Drinkwater and Kante tonight, final chance to show he has got what it takes? Well he showed me how slow he is to cover ground, how slow he is to release the ball and how he gets closed down far too quickly in this league. I actually thought this fixture might be good for him, more cultured midfielder, but alas not. We need better options than him in my opinion.

Myself, I thought he did OK, given the circumstances.

dbtcity Posted 29 December 2015 Posted 29 December 2015 I made allowances for rustiness - but not for naivity. This!!! The first couple of times he dwelled on the ball I thought well he hasn't played in a while..... Then when he did it time and time again i thought it was only a matter of time before he gifted them a goal!! If there's genuine interest in him let him go and replace him with a more mobile player

I think our expectations have been raised and for me "ok" probably isn't good enough. I imagine he might get a run out against Spurs in the cup but he hasn't shown enough for me yet, and he isn't fast enough in either thought or action.
Sindidragon Posted 3 January 2016 Posted 3 January 2016 Reluctantly I'm saying sell Inler because he has got talent...just doesn't fit our style....he's a long ball player
chicagofox Posted 3 January 2016 Posted 3 January 2016 Reluctantly I'm saying sell Inler because he's a long ball player That fits our style perfectly. His long balls/passes in to the channels for Vardy could would out great. It's the fact that he seems to want to slow the game down and take additional touches that doesn't suit our style of play.
Thracian Posted 4 January 2016 Posted 4 January 2016 I thought Ranieri liked pace, passing and energy but I'm beginning to wonder.
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 4 January 2016 Posted 4 January 2016 I thought Ranieri liked pace, passing and energy but I'm beginning to wonder. He's on the brink of signing Gray who posses all of those so what makes you think that?
Thracian Posted 5 January 2016 Posted 5 January 2016 He's on the brink of signing Gray who posses all of those so what makes you think that? But it's reported we're supposed to be loaning him back for the season. If so, I can't see how that would help.
Ric Flair Posted 5 January 2016 Posted 5 January 2016 But it's reported we're supposed to be loaning him back for the season. If so, I can't see how that would help. Are you an ostrich? It's already been said he's not going back on loan.
