purpleronnie Posted 27 March 2016 Posted 27 March 2016 Hopefully the Aussies will be knocked out...but I wouldn't be suprised if they crept through then ended up winning the whole thing.
purpleronnie Posted 27 March 2016 Posted 27 March 2016 Kohli 1 Aussies 0. Great game. India needed 11 an over from the final 6. Kohli took 32 runs off his last 11 balls. Crowd were crazy!!
StanSP Posted 27 March 2016 Posted 27 March 2016 Incredible from Kohli. Didn't panic at all and waited for the right time to get going. Needed 96 from 60 and battled down to get 8 from 8. Genuinely thought the innings would just peter out but Kohli was masterful.
marko Posted 30 March 2016 Posted 30 March 2016 Poor effort by the women. They were in a fantastic position but threw it away in the last five.
Guest MattP Posted 30 March 2016 Posted 30 March 2016 Poor effort by the women. They were in a fantastic position but threw it away in the last five. Even with the smaller ball they still barely have a player who can clear the boundary, the Aussies were just as bad towards the back end of theirs. My mate has been making a fortune betting on women's cricket for years, 50 from 40 with 8 wickets left is a doddle in the men's game, it's still finely balanced in the women's.
Guest MattP Posted 30 March 2016 Posted 30 March 2016 Baffling to see us using two spinners, got carted last time on the same pitch.
brockmyster Posted 30 March 2016 Posted 30 March 2016 Get Munro in next two overs and we could pin these back
marko Posted 30 March 2016 Posted 30 March 2016 Get Munro in next two overs and we could pin these back Have you seen this before?
rmahrez Posted 30 March 2016 Posted 30 March 2016 Good recovery here from Stokes and Jordan. Looks like they'll struggle to make 160 now.
Captain... Posted 30 March 2016 Posted 30 March 2016 Good recovery, I don't understand how can Chris Jordan be so terrible at the start of an innings and so good at the death. We still need to turn up with the bat it is not a gimme.
Guest MattP Posted 30 March 2016 Posted 30 March 2016 That's outrageous death bowling. We conceded 20 from the last 4 overs.
rmahrez Posted 30 March 2016 Posted 30 March 2016 At no stage did that innings look like reaching 153. Super death bowling from Jordan and Stokes, now need someone to stand up and finish the job.
Swarles Barkley Posted 30 March 2016 Posted 30 March 2016 we learnt to bowl at the death. this is a surreal experience
purpleronnie Posted 30 March 2016 Posted 30 March 2016 Brilliant at the end, thought they'd get at least 175. Please don't blow it.
StanSP Posted 30 March 2016 Posted 30 March 2016 England have done brilliantly there to restrict NZ to 153. Theirs to lose now!
Guest Manini Posted 30 March 2016 Posted 30 March 2016 Sensational performance. This team looks the business, I think Nick Knight summed it up best...It's nice to see england batting with so much freedom. In the past it would have been a chase based on theories and plans etc, rather than just going out and batting, seeing the ball on a good wicket and batting. Definitly something to do with the influence of Bayliss, but these are a special group of players too.
Corky Posted 30 March 2016 Posted 30 March 2016 Brilliant win, the last 10 of their innings and the first 10 of ours were almost perfect.
TheSomersetFox Posted 30 March 2016 Posted 30 March 2016 Absolutely supreme chase that, in front from the very beginning and never seized the initiative. So un-England-esque apart from the Morgan hiccup. Hopefully Jordan continues to prove me wrong from here on in too.
adam Posted 30 March 2016 Posted 30 March 2016 Well that was bloody brilliant. Shame the final clashes with the city game .
