Guest CityFan 06 Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Woke up in excitement today for this match. Really hoping we can get the 3pts. Southampton are a very decent side. Like I mentioned on an earlier post their well balanced but good aerially too. A number of talented individuals. I think this'll be a good game of football.
norwichfox Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 I have to go with my 1-1 for this one....I daren't pick any other score
ramadaone Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 ramadaone knows his onions... he seems to be alluding to an injury to someone. Apologies for vagueness of post but it was a reaction to Jeff being out Everyone else trained this morning so am assuming it will be an unchanged starting 11
TrentFox Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Anyone else have the feeling that this weekend might just be a defining one? Just have this feeling that either Spurs or City will get both the results they want. Please let it be us.

A win tomorrow and Spurs slipping up today would be fantastic, but we've got it in our own hands and need to focus on the task ahead and can't rely on others to fail (or - in Liverpool's case - succeed).

STUHILL Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Massive 24 hours for us now. A huge test, especially if Spurs win, which I think they will unfortunately. I think playing second piles the pressure on and you could see that we were not firing against Newcastle when we played after Spurs. Could be a defining weekend, either way. Liverpool are such an up and down team, I expect them to have an eye on Dortmund and think Spur's form will be too much for them, but we can only hope it doesn't go that way. Southampton on their day can be a top side, capable of beating anyone, but so can we. Managing the nerves will be key. Spurs loss or draw will ease that massively so come on you scousers!!!
Ozwin Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Best case scenario Liverpool win and Arsenal draw/lose. Can see that really spurring us on to pull away tomorrow. Not sure how we'll cope with both of them winning, we've had most things go our way this season so it'll be the first proper nervy test.

Just have this feeling that at the end of the season one of us will look back at this weekend and point to it. A bit like the Burnley away weekend.

That's right: top teams are used to this kind of pressure, and sometimes they even need it. Which doesn't mean they are always able to handle it, or that "small teams" can't handle it. By the way, I don't think Spurs are so used to these "win or die" matches: they're not ManU or Chelsea. Anyway, I don't think they'll win at Anfield, just my guess.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Come on Leicester This is a real chance now please please please win Up the Foxes
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Wouldn't be surprised to see ulloa tomorrow.Think it will be the same teamBut hopefully Ulloa comes on second half and scores a goal for us
teblin Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 More I think about this, it's the toughest opponents we've had since the Liverpool to arsenal run. Still think we'll have enough to see us through
foxfanazer Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Wouldn't be surprised to see ulloa tomorrow.Would be useful for defending set pieces too. Think Shinji will start though
Soton Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Hi Foxes, I can only imagine what you guys are feeling like. I've dreamt, like we all have, about winning the league. You guys are actually living the dream and it's bloody refreshing to say the least. I'm looking forwards to the game tomorrow but in truth feel you should beat us. Obviously I never like to see my team lose and I would never wish it. However, if you do take the spoils I wish you all the luck in the world in the remaining games. I am sooooooo jealous :-) All the best Foxes.
biggs Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 I'm going 3 - 0 with Vardy continuing his scoring form from the England games. Can see us celebrating another great week ....and cheers to the post above. A player on my team is a saints fan and he offered the same sentiments
ARM1968 Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Would just love a nice, straight forward win tomorrow with no dramas. But we're Leicester City, it's never easy.
foxinsox Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Would be useful for defending set pieces too. Think Shinji will start though Shinji may be a bit jetlagged. He was a bit flat after last international break. Ulloa to start may not be unreasonable. Schlupp may be out with his knock, so possibly a chance for Gray off the bench later?
Leicesterpool Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Tight affair I think Southampton will no doubt cause us problems but i'm going with my heart and going to go with a 2-1 victory for the Foxes!
Oxshottfox Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 Ulloa at the tigers game today. Watched a team who were getting smashed turn it around and win. Hopefully some good training fro tomorrow
Rasmic123 Posted 2 April 2016 Posted 2 April 2016 So excited for this after tottenham's slip up, a win tomorrow and we can really start to believe. Think tottenham's failure will make a real difference, if they'd won i could imagine the crowd and players would be nervous and it might have affected our game. Now we have a great opportunity to put some real distance between us and spurs, cannot wait
