Gerard Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 My first match back since my heart attack, but I shall be singing in SK2, come on everybody sing your hearts out for the lads. The free beer should help. If you were anything like me just watching Liverpool vs Tottenham last night then I would advise you go and live in an uninhabited island in the Shetland Isles and come back in mid May and ask what happened. I actually caught myself hugging my daughter's sheep pillow it was that stressful.

Nalis Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Finally match day as Sunday becomes the new Saturday for the month of April. Ideally of our next 4 games, we'd want at least 10 pts from 12. 6pts or less would be disappointing. Reckon we'll get 9, starting with 3 today. 2-1 Leicester.

Gerard Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 What a chance to take the title by the scruff of the neck today. A win takes us 7pts clear and that will be our biggest lead of the season on equal games. I've targeted 10pts from these next four games, a win today would be a great start in what is arguably our toughest game in the next four.
FoxesFan94 Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Dont know if my nerves could take another 1-0 win today! Gonna say a brace from either Vardy or Mahrez (2-0)

Getting way ahead of ourselves but could be 10pts ahead before Spurs even play again
jammie82uk Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Forgot about Stat time Leicester City have won only one of their last eight top-flight contests against Southampton (D4 L3). Southampton's only win away to Leicester in the Premier League came in December 2001, winning 4-0 at Filbert Street (D2 L6). Saints have lost just one of the last five Premier League away games (W3 D1 L1). The Foxes have 41 more points from 31 Premier League games this season (66) compared to last season (25). They were also bottom of the league after playing 31 in 2014/15. The last three Premier League meetings between these two sides have seen a player score a brace (Jamie Vardy in October, Riyad Mahrez last May and Shane Long in November 2014). Leicester have won 12 and lost just one of their last 18 Premier League home games (D5). The Foxes have kept six clean sheets in their last seven Premier League games at the King Power Stadium. Graziano Pelle has been involved in each of Southampton's last five goals, scoring three himself and assisting the other two for Sadio Mane. Riyad Mahrez has scored more winning goals in the Premier League than any other player this season (7). Southampton have scored more headed goals than any other team (12) in the Premier League this season.
Jacafox Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 I've waited 51 years for this to happen and I still pinch myself, I'm going to enjoy this. I must admit the final minutes of last nights match caused a few moments of anxiety. COYB
MANFACE Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 It will be a good match today. Leicester have been class ALL year, it won't change today.
Footnote75 Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 First morning in years where I've woken up actually already nervous about a game!
LJS Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 I'm shitting myself. I really rate Southampton and think they can cause us problems, particularly in the air. That said, I don't see them sitting back which may play into our hands. This is too close for me to call. My tummy has been playing up the last two days so there's a chance I might actually soil myself at the ground.
foxes161 Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 First morning in years where I've woken up actually already nervous about a game! Just wait as we get closer to the end...
pazzerfox Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Let's get the ground rocking from the off...12th man for the whole game! COYF.
ithuriel Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Just like the promotion and battle against relegation, excited and a little nervous. This really is a key match, win and a very sizeable gap opens up, lose and the nerves continue. What ever happens, this has been a season worth watching.
Gerard Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 I was more tense watching Liverpool vs Tottenham last night than I've ever been at relegation, promotion, league cup and play off finals. This is just getting more stressful. How I'd love us to win the title easily and it would be nice to be able to enjoy the game at some point today rather than my arsehole going like a rabbit's nose all game.

We are 4 points clear with a game in hand. It doesn't come much easier mate.

Well to be honest we couldn't even dream of such a lead but it doesn't feel like that at the moment. The closer we get the further it seems to be. I'd love a game like last season though, 2-0 up in about 20 mins and the game just drifts away without much going on. It seems like a long time since we watched a game without sweating until the last kik.
fuchsntf Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 We wont go 7pts in front.Southampton are up for the upset. No cheering City fans.Saints set up to go marching on. We lost to the Dutch in midweek, Agreat Dutchman passed away in the last week. My son just this week invested in his 1st house with his German/Dutch girlfriend. He was Born in Netherlands. The saints manager Koeman is Dutch, looks like we might go dutch this weekend.. UNLESS....Our adopted King Richard decides city need some dutch courage, and puts on his assignation cloak..Blue knights are restless after returning from their successfull mercenary crusades, selling their services to the international needs.
Clever Fox Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 The time draws close, Long not playing for them is a bonus as e's their Vardy likes to move around the pitch a bit. An early goal would settle the nerves once we don't shut up shop and defend for the rest of the game. Come on you Foxes. Onwards and upwards we go.
Carl the Llama Posted 3 April 2016 Posted 3 April 2016 Been waiting an eternity and there's still an eternity to go.
