Corky Posted 30 March 2016 Posted 30 March 2016 Repeat of last season's match would be fine. Tough game, hopefully we'll be boosted by the Spurs result from Saturday.
bsaint Posted 30 March 2016 Posted 30 March 2016 bsaint, you forget that the nucleus of our current team had the "nerve" not to bottle winning the Championship and got promoted. Equally they had the "nerve" to win 7 of the last games last year to guarantee survival. One thing about our foxes............ they have plenty of "nerve". I I agree you may have "nerve" but we all now what a weird game football can be. Shane Long possible doubt for Sunday now
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 30 March 2016 Posted 30 March 2016 I'd be one of the first to say you have been consistently the best team this season and deserve to the win the league. Back to Sundays game, I feel more confident playing you now than I would had we had to play you a month ago. Nerves surely have to start playing a role in these last 7 games for, like they would anyone but espeically players going for the title. No disrespect intended, but I wouldn't be surprised if a few silly little mistakes start creeping in. On the other hand you might be up for it and end up steam rolling every team you face on the run in. I actually think this game will be a banana skin for CitySaints are a bloody good team and I think it will be a right old game with one goal in it No disrespect meant bsaint but obviously I really hope Leicester win 2-1
Cornish Lair Posted 30 March 2016 Posted 30 March 2016 Now that international shite is finished it's back with the proper stuff. Come on you blue boys. Drinkwater and Vardy played well, and came through un-iinjured which was alway's a worry.

I can see us scoring on Sunday but I feel the same about you, and a draw isn't really ideal for either of us,although not the end of the world. We both came through the stupid international break injury free, Long should be OK hopefully as it's only a slight twinge. Really think we can get something from the game but you are not top for no reason,so I'll go 2-2.
biggs Posted 30 March 2016 Posted 30 March 2016 I actually think this game will be a banana skin for City Think this has been said the last few weeks by one person or another.....IMO fits right in there with with Lawro's weekly predictions
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 30 March 2016 Posted 30 March 2016 Think this has been said the last few weeks by one person or another.....IMO fits right in there with with Lawro's weekly predictionsI think we have to be on our guard all the time biggs Hopefully Leicester can win but I never take it for granted
Sunbury Fox Posted 30 March 2016 Posted 30 March 2016 It depends on how Liverpool get on against Spurs. If Spurs beat Liverpool they stay 22 points behind us. If we then beat Southampton then we are 25 points ahead of Liverpool and they only have 24 points to play for. We beat Southampton then they and Stoke cant catch us which would only leave Liverpool. So we will know after the Spurs vs Liverpool game whether we can guarantee European football or not (although I think Champions League is a certainty now anyway) What?! I want nothing more than a Liverpool win against Spurs.

Otherwise you risk that smug traitor, Pochettino, winning the PL?
FantasticMrFox&Son Posted 30 March 2016 Posted 30 March 2016 I have the same feeling ahead of the Saints game as I did before the home game against Stoke. Good opposition with hugely talented individuals who, on their day, can beat the best. I'll take a similar result, 3-0 home win !!
biggs Posted 30 March 2016 Posted 30 March 2016 I think we have to be on our guard all the time biggs Hopefully Leicester can win but I never take it for granted Agree we can't take it for granted and I've been saying that to me mates in Vancouver that keep telling me how they can't see any team catching us! Are you celebrating yet? and all that nonsense. For me I'm confident in what I've seen this year and again the players back it up with their performances in the International break. We are this good and possibly not living in Leicester now and being surrounded by the enormity of it all helps settle the nerves. Game day....I'm like anyone else. Screaming at the ref on TV like he can hear me, jumping out of my seat on a close call, jumping up and down like a little kid with my son when we score, opening the windows screaming Leicester City, Leicester City wanting the world to join in. I never take it for granted but I believe every week we will win
treer Posted 30 March 2016 Posted 30 March 2016 Southampton may be a good team and 7th in the league, but usually when top plays 7th top wins, thats why there top Stop worrying and panicking, we win . SIMPLE
Christoph Posted 30 March 2016 Posted 30 March 2016 We should be comfortable, we bossed them once we put our proper team on In the 2nd half. I think we'll scrap another 1-0
CosbehFox Posted 30 March 2016 Posted 30 March 2016 Just looked and you've had 9 penalties this season so far that's a staggering amount! The last few weeks saints have had some pretty major decisions not go our way it's got to the point where if you don't laugh you cry. Shane long not getting a penalty V Liverpool was up there with the worst. Fans just want consistent refs, were not asking for miracles. To answer your question we've had an offside goal scored by yourselves which was allowed to stand. Villa away they scored with the heavy assistance of a hand and a huge deflection. The disgrace of the Arsenal game too.
bsaint Posted 30 March 2016 Posted 30 March 2016 Come on, you want the Foxes to win, surely? Otherwise you risk that smug traitor, Pochettino, winning the PL? True, my dislike for Spurs has nothing to do with Pochettino though, only Pompey top them for me.

simon789us Posted 31 March 2016 Posted 31 March 2016 Will be a tough game take a 1-0 now and hope Liverpool do us a favour sat night
kingcarr21 Posted 31 March 2016 Posted 31 March 2016 What?! I want nothing more than a Liverpool win against Spurs. Where the hell have I said I want Spurs to win
Guest Col city fan Posted 31 March 2016 Posted 31 March 2016 The Liverpool game is as important for us as the Southampton game. Liverpool really need to do us a favour Sat night.
sdb Posted 31 March 2016 Posted 31 March 2016 I really think we need to win this. Sunderland and West Ham afterwards are really tricky fixtures, not that this is easy either. Please can we have a stress free game?!
maynefox Posted 31 March 2016 Posted 31 March 2016 Forget Liverpool. This is why we have been so dominant this year. We just focus on our game one at a time. So what if Spuds get to within 2 points of us by the time we play. I have full confidence that the players will be focussed on getting the three points. If we win the league it will be our own doing, not the work of others. I think the remainder of this season will be like this; I can't see us or Spurs dropping many points.
Tuna Posted 31 March 2016 Posted 31 March 2016 I don't get this 'tricky final 3 games' nonsense. Our trickiest games are Southampton, Sunderland and West Ham without question. Teams with nothing to play for, I don't fear.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 31 March 2016 Posted 31 March 2016 A huge plus that Vardy had two in two for England, he'll be well up for this one
kingcarr21 Posted 31 March 2016 Posted 31 March 2016 A huge plus that Vardy had two in two for England, he'll be well up for this one The international break has done Leicester a huge favour. Vardy back to his scoring best, Drinky getting MOTM, Shinji scoring and getting his 100th cap. Lots of positives to take into the last 7 games. I can see Shinji and Vardy ripping Southampton a new arsehole
