Trelleh Posted 23 March 2016 Posted 23 March 2016 We haven't really had a topsy-turvy game of late, so I'm going for a 3-2 home win.
MonmoreStef Posted 23 March 2016 Posted 23 March 2016 I actually think the result of Spurs against Liverpool will shape how this game goes. If Spurs win I can see another nervous horrible atmosphere like the Toon match and a game where one bit of good or bad luck will decide it. However, if they have failed to win I can foresee an unbelievable atmosphere and a stunning performance from us. The nerves we will all be feeling if the gap is back to two points will be unbearable.

Our players will go for it 100% regardless of whether Spurs win lose or draw. We will be nervous in every situation. In fact I reckon I would be more nervous if Spurs lose and we have the chance to expend the gap to 8 points. That's the moment you think if we do it its over. Whatever the scenario were all going to be shitting bricks
SpinneyHillRanger Posted 23 March 2016 Posted 23 March 2016 Squeaky bum time... I just go on YouTube and watch a few videos of kante doing his stuff.... Watching his "highlights" Surprisingly so relaxing and fills me with confidence whoever we play. After watching kante play, no one should get any jitters... We've got this. The 1-0 scorelines give false impression that we are nicking games... What usually happens apart from Norwich is that we score with usually plenty of time and then just become solid and compact... A lack a bit of the cutting edge to make the most of our counter attacking chances which if we took, we would be winning by much bigger margins. We will have Southampton on ice
Manwell Pablo Posted 23 March 2016 Posted 23 March 2016 It'll depend on how Spurs get on as to how nervey I am. If they don't win I'll certainly feel more relaxed, as long as that gap stays above 3 points at all times I am chilled
Gerard Posted 23 March 2016 Posted 23 March 2016 Beer and Donuts is a weird combination. Personally I would have gone for Beer and Pretzels or Coffee and Donuts. We have more things to worry about but an excellent point nonetheless.

ST20 Posted 23 March 2016 Posted 23 March 2016 Mahrez 90th minute over head kick. He needs to make one of them eventually.
Wymsey Posted 23 March 2016 Posted 23 March 2016 Like Stoke, decent team with some highly-rated individuals but players are hit-and-miss combined.
The Guvnor Posted 23 March 2016 Posted 23 March 2016 They still have an outside chance of a top 4 place so they will not come to the KP to sit deep, hopefully a nice open game.
st albans fox Posted 23 March 2016 Posted 23 March 2016 a point would be a good outcome for them. I suspect they will either a) set up to get that b) treat it as a 'free hit' and go for it. when they had nothing to lose against lpool, they looked fantastic pouring forward. unlike some, I think a) might prove the more likely scenario though b) would concern me with our current standard of finishing. we would probably lose a game of 'basketball' with them
SpinneyHillRanger Posted 24 March 2016 Posted 24 March 2016 Again, we do enough to win. If we got a goal in the first half against Newcastle, no need to take undue risk and keep the game open so both sides have chances to score. We had one shot on target scored and then played with counter attack in mind. We limited Newcastle to 2 shots on target and no real danger. Why should we have to have a million shots on target? The point is to get three points and score one more than the opposition... Like we did at WHL... Where we probably did nick it... Which makes it even more enjoyable. If/when we lift the trophy, no one will look back at Newcastle game and say we had one shot on target.... The most important thing is we CHOSE to play like that. And hopefully we do it to Southampton too. If we can score with one shot on target and then limit them to half chances then all good... I'll be happy with three points.
Vacamion Posted 24 March 2016 Posted 24 March 2016 Wouldn't it be just great if, for the first time in ages, we could have a comfortable, stress free 2nd half in which we are 2 up and untroubled... However, I predict 1-0, a last minute spawny victory, the ball going in off Huth's backside.
Buzzell Posted 24 March 2016 Posted 24 March 2016 A very tight game with Mahrez saving the day again. 1-0 win.
Mezeker Posted 24 March 2016 Posted 24 March 2016 I actually think contrary to popular opinion that the international break is a good thing. Kante and Drinkwater getting called up and being around the quality in their respective national teams is going to be a real boost for them. They have gone from strength to strength this season and there is not reason to doubt that this momentous occasion in their professional lives will not leave them lusting for more. This is probably going to be the end of the 1-0 scorelines; Southampton are a scary team at the moment but I expect a far better performance than that of late.
whetstonefox Posted 24 March 2016 Posted 24 March 2016 I think we're due one of those stupid games, the managers have no control, chances galore, and it ends up 5-3 to Leicester!
TiffToff88 Posted 24 March 2016 Posted 24 March 2016 Just like pretty much every other city game this season, its too unpredictable. it will either be another close game, separated by a late winner, 1-0, or an end to end goalfest
Nalis Posted 24 March 2016 Posted 24 March 2016 10 ****ing days. Not meaning to wish life away but it feels like an eternity already...
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 24 March 2016 Posted 24 March 2016 The days between games are seemingly taking bloody ages Come on Leicester Up the Foxes
Chester Dontlie Posted 24 March 2016 Posted 24 March 2016 haven't you noticed our new playing style? I did but strangely I'm not at all wengered about this one, Saints are pretty inconsistent and I fancy a high win for us this time, despite what we've been playing in the recent weeks. We are allowed to dream... Claudio said so

STUHILL Posted 24 March 2016 Posted 24 March 2016 Watching MOTD 2 and seeing their defence in the first half, they looked very open at the back. Think we can exploit that with our fast counters. Dangerous side going forward though but our defence has looked so great recently, I think we can minimise that. More confident now, seeing BBC analyse their open defence in that Liverpool game. Also, Bertrand has picked up an injury so might be a doubt Going for 2-0 Leicester (Shinji, Vardy)
