Tuna Posted 27 March 2016 Posted 27 March 2016 So its a boring virtually sport free Easter Sunday so I thought I'd do a little quiz for you all in recognition of the various nations that have represented us over the years. Well, since 1990 because I couldn't be bothered to go back any further. I've excluded Irish and only included players who have actually played for us, so no Alex Cisak, Leon Crncic or Jimmy Neilsen! But I have included players who are English but have gone on to represent another nation whilst playing for us but NOT since, so no Jamie Lawrence who played for the reggae boyz in the late nineties. There will be some here that you will have forgotton about and with good reason! Have fun, try inputting the surnames first. http://www.sporcle.com/games/mrtuna/leicester-city-international-players-1990-- Edit: Not included players from Republic of Ireland. For players with a 'Le' or 'De' in front of their surname, type in the full name or it wont show. I've redone it so hopefully it works better and no one is missing though I'm sure you'll all tell me!

Sampson Posted 27 March 2016 Posted 27 March 2016 Answered Yakubu and Panayiotou and neither came up? De Vries and De Laet you had to type them without the "de" for some reason. Didn't Nicholas Priet make an appearance too? I typed him but he didn't come up.

No idea how I missed that, but I ****ed up the spelling of Panayiotou missed the I out. D'oh! The reason de vries and de laet work that way is because it recognizes the second word.
It'sblueupnorth Posted 27 March 2016 Posted 27 March 2016 Panayiotou is spelt wrong! Must have spent a minute trying to spell aiyegbeni after Yakubu wasn't accepted, and even that wasn't on there. Got 59/92 so quite pleased with that.

You can't put de Vries with a space as the second word when typing these in? I've never had a problem with "van" or "de" names on other sporcle quizzes. And you missed Nicholas Priet too. I was quite proud of remembering that one and it didn't come up.
