fuchsntf Posted 4 April 2016 Posted 4 April 2016 King Richards spirit protects their goal-line, and the ball is cursed at the oppositions feet. Not an excuse, just a simple fact..
Maggie's town fox Posted 4 April 2016 Posted 4 April 2016 "Leicester are due a loss and this will be the one, the bubble will burst, i'll go 2-1 loss". Quoted by Mark Lawrenson in Aug 2015, Sept 2015, Oct 2015, Nov 2015, Dec 2015, Jan 2016, Feb 2016, March 2016, oh and no bloody doubt the rest of April and May 2016. What a T**ser
shailen Posted 4 April 2016 Posted 4 April 2016 Sorry to be nitpicky, but Cech and Welbeck have both won it before. Ozil and Sanchez have both won La Liga too if you want to count that. Fair point about Cech and Welbeck, completely forgot about those two. Guess we have Huth in our ranks who won it with Chelsea.
VLC86 Posted 4 April 2016 Posted 4 April 2016 Favourite one I have seen today is 'If all of the shots that hit the post went in Arsenal would be top'. Put simply, Arsenal- stop being shit and you might win.
Chester Dontlie Posted 4 April 2016 Posted 4 April 2016 That list of excuses seemed to miraculously shrink in the recent months, those most biased of their kind seem to be left mainly with accusations now. I wouldn't be much surprised if it's King Richard's turn to get labeled as cheater on f-cock forums
Mark_w Posted 4 April 2016 Posted 4 April 2016 "We'd be champions if we were perverted Countdown fans."
shen Posted 4 April 2016 Posted 4 April 2016 Fair point about Cech and Welbeck, completely forgot about those two. Guess we have Huth in our ranks who won it with Chelsea. Add Schwarzer to that list Vardy, Drinkwater, Morgan, Schmiechel, Schlupp, De Laet, Wasilewski and Andy King all have title winning experience too
katieakita Posted 4 April 2016 Posted 4 April 2016 What other matches did they have to choose from? Miserable gits. Bar manager sounds like a class act. Think there was Ladies golf, the Bar manager and in fairness the few Spanish people really wanted us to win and to go on and win the league they get the team spirit and passion that seems lost on our London friends and accept we play good football
mick47 Posted 4 April 2016 Posted 4 April 2016 And when we still top the league come mid May, all the nay-saying pundits will clamour to say that they knew it all along.
stretch1965 Posted 4 April 2016 Posted 4 April 2016 Hang on boys one more, I am constantly being told by the baggies fans I work with is..................... You have luckily managed to play teams when they are going through a bad spell otherwise you'd be in the bottom 6 at best. Tossers
LanguedocFox Posted 4 April 2016 Posted 4 April 2016 The one that p1sses me off, big time, is that we are "lucky with injuries". It's like our sports science and fitness team are like a bunch of 1960s assistants with the magic sponge. The reason we've had very few major injuries over the past five seasons is that we're set up to avoid them. No luck involved. Fvck 'em.
Manwell Pablo Posted 4 April 2016 Posted 4 April 2016 Right I'm trying to compile an exhaustive list of reasons our run can't continue, feel free to chip in: They're just riding on the back of a good end to last season. They've got an easy start to the season. They've not played any of the "Big 4(5/6)TM". Once they lose they'll lose confidence. They've not played any good teams away. We'll see where they are after the next run of games - ManU, Chelsea, Swansea, Everton, man City, Liverpool. They won't cope with the Winter busy schedule with their squad. We'll see where they are after the next run of games - Liverpool, Man City, Arsenal. They won't be able to play against the lower teams who don't attack them. Errrmmm Southampton will be tricky. Errrmmm... well.. errr... It just can't continue... this doesn't happen... Any more for any more? The "luck" one still carries a small amount of weight, one bad thing that came out of yesterday was I was keen for us to win without numerous contentious incidences for every pundit and his wife to debate and pick to pieces but safe to say that didn't happen. Then there is the poor league one which whilst it's true is irrelevant to me. If some of the biggest and richest clubs can't maintain their performances and open the door for an old school 4-4-2 team carefully put together to crash their party that's on them and their complaisantness. Pick your managers, players and tactics better and you might not have this problem, not to mention put the country's coefficient points on the verge of being caught by serie a and then have the nerve to turn around and question what our involvement in the champions league will do to it.
49er Posted 4 April 2016 Posted 4 April 2016 'Ranieri is a tinkerman', which they kept on repeating for most of the season even when he hadn't tinkered! ' They will lose Vardy and Mahrez in the January transfer window' ' They're all journeymen - players like Huth, Morgan, Albrighton, Simpson, Vardy..' ' It's a crazy season', defined as such because none of the so-called big teams are going to win the title ' They have less possession than the opposition and just play long balls a la Wimbledon' ' Let's see how they react when the pressure is on, when sides are chasing them down' 'All they do is win 1-0' ' Other teams have world class players (really?!!), such as Sterling, Yaya Toure, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Walcott, Lallana...' ' Nigel Pearson should take the credit for this' ' Arsenal/Tottenham/Man City/Man Utd could win all their remaining games and beat Leicester to the title', even though their form suggests no such dramatic turnaround
Jattdogg Posted 4 April 2016 Posted 4 April 2016 Dunno why people are so hung up on wondering when we may crack. If we do we do. If we dont then guess what tossers, we are champs. It's sport. Anything is possible. Greece won the euros. Boring or not they won.
crisp packet Posted 4 April 2016 Posted 4 April 2016 They have a weeks rest. Every week we are playing in the f.a cup champions league, Europa league etc etc
Oxshottfox Posted 4 April 2016 Posted 4 April 2016 They are illegally making more revenue than they should by making more silver fox memberships available than there are tickets....
WJH Posted 4 April 2016 Posted 4 April 2016 You guys have missed the biggest excuse yet.. "The Quality Of The League Is Poor All The Big Sides Haven't Shown Up This Year Domestically Or In Europe"
manimanc Posted 4 April 2016 Posted 4 April 2016 No excuses with me, you guys are the real deal, played the best football from the get go and rightly deserve to be top of the league. Really really hope you keep your nerve and these 1-0 wins are what wins you championships. C'mon you foxes.

manimanc Posted 4 April 2016 Posted 4 April 2016 I cant see them bottling it either, I think they'll do it with 2 games to spare. They are playing with a strength and passion I've never seen before, they've played exactly the same all season. Tinker man my arse...great thinker man more like. Love it.
stripeyfox Posted 4 April 2016 Posted 4 April 2016 On Five Live tonight they were suggesting that maybe even referees want us to win (like everyone else) and although it is not a deliberate thing, the refs are subconsciously giving us decisions which is assisting our challenge!
manimanc Posted 4 April 2016 Posted 4 April 2016 On Five Live tonight they were suggesting that maybe even referees want us to win (like everyone else) and although it is not a deliberate thing, the refs are subconsciously giving us decisions which is assisting our challenge! When you're at the top decisions go for you that would go against you if you're down the bottom. I found that out with us. When we was treading water before the money we got some awful decisions against us, borderline criminal. Now we're at the top and it's gone full circle. But you could be right with the refs, they are too caught up on the Leicester fun bus..

I would agree to a certain extent but there haven't been many questionable decisions to merit you NOT winning the league fair and square. Nothing like Mike Riley, Howard Webb being the 12th Manchester Utd man disguisting how Utd used to get all the help from the officials season after season.
