Rincewind Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Spurs look really, really good right now, looking at their last 5 matches I can only see them potentially dropping points away to Chelsea. Thankfully we've got a good enough lead to allow us to slip up several times in the few games If Spurs only slip up at Chelsea then several times will have to be 3 with wins for the other two
americanfox Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Yeah lets not become like one of the biggest clubs in the country. Come on lads. I personally have dreamed of hearing that anthem at a Leicester game for all of my life. It's a sign of "making it" and I will be a very proud man when that time comes. Claudio shed a tear. That's enough to tell me it's okay I can too right now. This is amazing.

One if the biggest clubs who never actually achieve anything, or progress. I'm delighted, I'm proud, I'm every single happy emotion you can think of that we've joined the elite of European football, it's fantastic, but to get so emotional you'll cry, please. That should be happening when you see your captain lift a trophy, not when you've qualified for a competition, no matter how big that competition is.
bovril Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Desperately want to do an away for this. Me too, ticket or no ticket. Foxestalk Euro meet up next year.
AoWW Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 If we qualify for the champions league I'm going to do laps of Frog Island in my pants. I'll be ****ing delirious. @@Finnegan (Apologies to all those that live near Frog Island)
Webbo Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Me too, ticket or no ticket. Foxestalk Euro meet up next year. I'm hoping for an FT meet up at Wembley at the start of next season but I don't want to tempt fate by mentioning at what match.
Guest ttfn Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Mental. Already the greatest achievement in English football of the last 25 years with the exception of The Invincibles. 5 games to make it even better...
Mezeker Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 So basically given how the group draft works out to have any chance of getting out of the group stages we probably have to win the league this year.
bovril Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 I'm hoping for an FT meet up at Wembley at the start of next season but I don't want to tempt fate by mentioning at what match. Ohmygod don't tell me you got us all Beyonce tickets #bestmodever
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Going to have to start taking an interest in this competition having previously been more bothered about Championship Tuesday night fixtures than Champions League group fixtures... We're all going on a European tour!
AyewJoking Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 In tears? Really? I'll be in tears if we win the league, but we've won nothing yet. Let's not become Arsenal and treat qualification as a trophy. I'm delighted the club has managed this, and I'll be delighted if we keep doing it, but I'm not going to be an emotional wreak until we actually have silverware in our hands. we're leicester city. go back a year and ask yourself if you thought we'd ever play in the champions league. one might argue that qualifying for the competition is a metaphorical trophy. qualifying for CL means more to us than winning CL does for most of the big european sides who have won it before. this achievement alone deserves a parade in the city. today leicester city achieved the biggest accolade in its history.
Webbo Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Ohmygod don't tell me you got us all Beyonce tickets #bestmodever Susan Boyle's "Bump and Grind Tour" actually. we're all up for that aren't we?
AyewJoking Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 would it be a good idea to have an image on the forum header or even just some words to commemorate this unthinkable achievement. maybe it would look a little tacky but feel we should mark this unimaginable feat for what has traditionally been a mediocre football club?
TrentFox Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Based on in last 6 getting 11 pts and us 16? they have played great football but haven't closed the gap , the gap has got widerMy comment on the quality of their football relates to how their next few games might play out, rather than how their last ones have.

Not until we've actually won something surely?
AyewJoking Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Not until we've actually won something surely? yeah but take into account the sheer size of this achievement. ok maybe it would be too tacky, just thinking that this is all over shadowed by the fact we are close to winning the league.

Captain... Posted 10 April 2016 Posted 10 April 2016 Are the league winners still pot one if Man City win the league? With Arsenal playing Man City next week we are virtually guaranteed automatic qualification. Mental. We don't want Liverpool to win the Europa League as that will cost us about £20m if there are 5 English teams in the group stage, whereas if the English qualifiers don't make it and there are only 3 English teams we will earn an extra £20m
