Then they win CL, so they get Pot 1. If Liverpool and Man City are both out of the top 4 and win their European competitions, then only top 3 are in. EDIT: I can't do maths. We can't finish worse than 3rd if Man City drop in form, so regardless, we're in Champions League qualifying rounds.

If the unthinkable happens and city and liverpool win in Europe we qualify regardless as city will either qualify through finishing top 4 or qualify through Europe and finish outside top 4. If city don't finish top 4 we are guaranteed 3rd so it doesn't matter.
