TonyJamesLegend Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 How would it feel if, and its a big IF.... we win the league the night spurs play chelsea. Would it be an anti climax for us....it would be strange winning it whilst not playing. Much prefer to win it whilst playing Maybe it will be different if it happens though, im sure having waited 42 years of my life for it ..... I would not care at the time!!
GaelicFox Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Who cares when !!!! It would be nice to finally get rid of my squeaky bum !!!
Lestoh Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 It'd be nice to be able to watch a game not feeling fvcking terrified, kinda miss that feeling
Finnegan Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Honestly don't give a **** at this point. It's killing me. We knew we were going to win the championship. It was a forgone conclusion. This is just... ugh. Take it any way it comes.
NotQuiteAFox Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Not sure about anyone else, but im pretty sure I would climax...
Guest LCFC_World Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Anti climax? Any time will do, let's not be too needy! It wouldn't matter, if that happened I'd be on my way to Leicester as soon as the final whistle goes to celebrate.
Raj Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Yeah would be horrible winning the title without playing!!!!!
Gerard Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 5pts clear with four to play, we are not in a position to choose. Anti climax my arse, I just want us to get over the line ASAP.
HighPeakFox Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Forgive the snippy comment, but I do look forward to fewer threads like these...........
norwichfox Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Forgive the snippy comment, but I do look forward to fewer threads like these........... +1....my heart goes in my mouth every time I see one of these threads, I can't even look at the score during a match now I'm that scared of ruining it all.
Nalis Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 It'd be nice to be able to watch a game not feeling fvcking terrified, kinda miss that feeling Yeah tell me about it, watching the Man City Stoke game last night and just enjoying it without any worries about the outcome was a welcome relief. On the OP, couldn't give a shit when we win it as long as we win it.
Wolfox Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 I want to be able to breathe again... Honestly..... I haven't enjoyed all of this since Stoke as its all too tense... If we are going to do it, just get it done and stop fannying around...
lestajigs Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Yes bang on, don't know what would be worse winning the league without playing, or winning the league when playing but NO pitch invasion Yes bang on, don't know what would be worse winning the league without playing, or winning the league when playing but NO pitch invasion
Gerard Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Anti-climax = finishing 2nd Can you imagine being a little bit gutted because we won the title when Tottenham were playing? No, me neither. In fact I'm at the very least as nervous at watching Tottenham's matches as I am our own.
Sublime_Coatsworth Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Seriously, put that thought out you mind right now. It actually feels like 132 years to me - I am so screwed up inside We still have one hell of a mountain to climb, let's not worry about such trivial things
StanSP Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 an anti-climax winning the Premier League don't give a fvck. just want it to happen.
Gerard Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Just get it done I am a wreck. Me too but one thing I have learned if we do win it that my anxiety levels over the last few weeks will make it all the more sweeter than if we had just breezed it. I don't mind suffering but I don't want to suffer for nothing. In fact I'm a wreck all week but the closer I get to the game the more confident I get. I'm like a boxer who is nervous of losing but as soon as the first punches are exchanged I'm raring to go with full confidence.
KP Fox Posted 24 April 2016 Posted 24 April 2016 Would not be an anticlimax to be champions because of a Spurs result whilst we were not playing. It would be a huge relief but let's face, wouldn't it be fantastic to be crowned champions after a win at the KP!
