foxes_rule1978 Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Thought he got the penalty decision with Mahrez correct but Drinky hardly touched him. No way was that even a foul. Shame because he played well today. Hardly touched him twice
kingfox Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 I know the consensus is it was a penalty, and it was in the box, but I'm not even sure Drinkwater's second was a foul? Rashford and Depay were both clear, he tugged them back, both yellows I'm afraid.
Mark_w Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Those brainless idiots (Henry) on sky saying drinky fouled and should be penalty... Then have they forgotten the hand ogbonna put on vardys shoulder, for which there was more contact, clearly in the box and more reason to send off. Overall happy with the point. Don't know if King will be able to fill Danny's shoes against Everton. Hope Chelsea can get a point now. At half-time talking about Simpson's they said it can't be a foul just because he touched him, that's essentially all Drinky did.
catfordfox Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Would have definitely beaten them with vardy. Don't really think we should moan about the ref too much because he could easily have given a pen as well as sending drinky off. Evens up the clear pen on mahrez though I guess. Good performance overall after the first 15 (which was the worst we've played in months). Schemichel outstanding
Max Power Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Solid point. Great resilience after the early goal. Nearly there lads calm down
foxes_rule1978 Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Rashford and Depay were both clear, he tugged them back, both yellows I'm afraid. Not at all, otherwise yellows are giving all game... how about Fellaini with a clear elbow and fist?
Legend_in_blue Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 We've turned the screw on Spurs now. It's as good as done. Great point and this is going just how I called it. A draw tomorrow night as well I'd expect.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 I thought the ref had a fair game. Explain how Fellaini can get away with assault.. fair game indeed
49er Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Didn't think drinks was a second yellow to be honest, his line and marketing ails lines have crossed and drinks done everything he can to get the other side of martial, yes there was a small pull back but martial fell like a sack of shit, it's a move you see across He pitch and never is a free kick given! It was Depay, not Martial

nnfox Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Massive point today. One point closer and it means that Spurs have to win all their games. Gutted for Danny missing next week. Maybe worth an appeal? Back 5 were great again but will probably be disappointed with the way they conceded early on.
Steameh Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Great point against a United side who have looked revitalised in recent weeks. They are a very good team, and were fighting hard for the CL spots. A little more composure in the box and we could possibly have got another goal, but on balance of the play a draw was probably a fair result. Drinkwater was a deserved second yellow, however United arguably should have been down to 9 with a fellani and rooney being incredibly lucky. Overall, I am very happy we got a hard fought point, at one of the biggest clubs in the world who have just come on song.
Karljohn Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Explain how Fellaini can get away with assault.. fair game indeed Explain how Fellini is considered to be a Footballer?
tsintskaro Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 You think Drinky was crap in general today? I thought he was one of our better players... he was bad. Morgan was the best, then Huth and kasper thats all ulloa was worst

FireFox Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Gutted for Danny missing next week. Maybe worth an appeal? Can't appeal 2 yellows.
wokinghamfox Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Comparing the vardy and drinky sendings off means Vardy should've been available for the last two games and Drinky should be available next week. The Utd player (dont want to mention his name) dived the cameras have proved it. If there is any justice it will be resinded.
Larry_LCFC Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Bottom line is this is still well I'm our hands and will require the most monumental **** up not to complete the fairytale.
Webbo Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Explain how Fellaini can get away with assault.. fair game indeed Where Huth was assaulting him at the same time? We've got away with no end of those this season. Man up.
kingfox Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Not at all, otherwise yellows are giving all game... how about Fellaini with a clear elbow and fist? I said the ref was inconsistent, but as for Drinkwater I thought he deserved to go. They were both clear and he stopped their runs, he knew what he was doing and when that happens the player is usually given a yellow. If you think differently then fair enough
