I think theres been a few small away ends of me.

Hull on boxing day in a 2-1 victory and Watford away on a tuesday nght in a 2-2 draw stand out, roughly 300 travelled each time i think.

Yeah I went to both of them.

Even though we won that Hull game the atmosphere was so shit it felt like a loss!

Went to most away games in the mid-late 80's.  There would often only be around 8,000 at home games, so to see anything like 500 at an away game would be an excellent turn out.  You usually got your own crush barrier to lean on.

Those were the days. lol A gaggle of supporters huddling in the middle of a huge terrace. Back then I was a naive young boy still dreaming that one day we could win the league.

;)

I was at selhurst park against crystal palace back in 98,

For the 3-3 draw in the cup on a Tuesday night, there was 350 of us that night,

I remember running to the old city shop up church gate to get my tickets thinking it would sell out :-)

I can just imagine the traffic in rush hour, midweek, going to that place

Come to think of it I haven't been in many away ends with minimal numbers in all honsetly, or at least I can't remeber if so. The largest following I've been in was Forest away (2012 cup game).

Goodison Park, Tuesday night in March 1984. There must have been less than a hundred on the Park End terrace behind the goal. Might have been a few more in the seats above. Lineker scored a classic breakaway goal that night.

Wimbledon away, the last season before they became McDonalds.

Only thing I remember from the game is the sweaty lineo in front of us all game getting some stick and maybe Jordan Stewart scoring a screamer ( this could have been a different game though)

There weren't many of us there at sellhurst that day though

I was at that one. Came back from 2-0 down, Stewart scoring a great goal to win it. There weren't many of us but I have a feeling we still ran the home attendance close.

Aston Villa away the season we were relegated with McClintock. I recall one small pocket of us in a small pen behind the goal. Can't have been more than 300 or 400.

Went to Millwall away on New Years Day in the 80's I think maybe early 90's and was less than 50 of us at The Old Den.....bloody scary....lost 1 nil I think!

Remember being on a terrace that hadn't sold out at Colchester's old ground the year we got relegated. 5.30 kickoff. Loads of room so must've only been a couple of hundred.

I thought it was about half full, which would have been about 500? I remember the right side looked pretty full and the left being about half a dozen of us, before they opened that gate in the middle.

The fans that turned out for these low attendance games are the ones that really deserve the league winning glory of this season.

I wonder if Keith Vaz was there?

I was on the right hand send and it was pretty empty there too. Was quite ill at the time and was sat down (lol) on the terrace for some of the game with plenty of room to stretch out.

Seem to remember us taking 330 to Burnley about 10 years back. Awful

Was that a Tuesday night and we won 1-0?

Remember being 1 of only about 10 people standing and when the stewards came to ask us to sit I said I had a bad leg and couldn't bend it. 5 minutes later I was the only 1 standing lol

Nothing like some of the above examples but Millwall new years day 2014 I think was under 1000 and definitely the lowest away attendance of the season. Absolutely drenched but a win at the den at the fourth time of asking for me!

I was talking to someone at work today about Leicesters away support and how it has always been quite good for numbers, but it got me thinking about the shit attendances we've had over the years.

I was just wondering what is the lowest attendance away end you guys on here have been in with Leicester?

I think mine was Cardiff away at Ninian Park in like 2005 or 2006, it was a Tuesday night and I swear there couldn't have been more than 400 of us there.

Anyone know of any websites that have away attendances information on?

I was one of those 400. A dismal night and Cardiff didn't even play that well.

When we got back to Leicester in the early hours my mates car was in the red and it was the day of the fuel strike.......so there we are going round Leicester looking for a petrol station that actually had petrol left to sell. Nightmare.

The smallest away following I can remember being part of was 526 at Preston on Bonfire Night 2007.

From memory it was 1 - 1 (I think DJ Campbell scored) and the view of the fireworks in the distance was better than the game.

Away crowds seem to have gone right up in this country. Even your Watfords and Burnleys travel well these days compared to a few years ago.

I was at that one (didn't go the year before), think we took just under 500.

It was quite full just right of the gates behind the goal before they opened them, but the entire left half of the thing was literally half a dozen before that. I think when me and a mate went in there was literally one guy in there. I remember having a chat with a friend about going to the toilet and having to explain it was literally THE toilet :D and the fireworks display, and thinking that Marton Fulop was about as tall as the stand.
