Schwarzer will likely retire imo, but seems to be angling for a media job, probably with Bruce. Keeps popping up everywhere.

yep.. always on talksports aswell.. got very good contacts the man has!

18 years old and already the first team starting goalkeeper for Jagiellonia. 34 matches played this season, 55 goals conceded and ten clean sheets. Impressive. Must be highly-touted and sought-after and if we've got his signature, that'd be a coup.

I can also see his FUT card got an upgrade from 50 last season to a whopping 71 now! :D

Kasper, Iversen, Dragowski.

Sign another keeper to push Kasper, but happy to be number 2 (Luke Steele or Ruddy?) and all of a sudden we are very stacked in this position! Happy days.

I think Dragowski will be our no. 2 if he signs

Very good keeper - probably the best Polish prospect at the moment. However with the wealth of talent in that area, he's nowhere near the national team.

At risk of his development stagnating if he stays at Jagiellonia much longer, but could do with going somewhere to play as opposed to being back-up, which is all he'll get here. Possibly loaning him out could work,

Very tall. Good shot-stopper. If he can continue to develop, has a good chance of being a future Polish No.1.

Oh, and his name is roughly pronounced "Bart-wom-eyay Dron-gohf-skee"

In few or several years he should be Poland's #1 (currently there's a stiff competition and at least 3-4 better, more experienced goalkeepers in the pecking order).

No idea if he's better or worse than Iversen as I havent seen Iversen's games. I'd rather if Kasper stayed fit and injury-free though. If we get Dragu, he should be given time to learn and adjust. Let's be honest, Polish ekstrasa isn't the best league in the world and this season wasnt the greatest for him. Granted, his team Jagiellonia has abysmal defense and placed low-midtable. They've let 62 goals in, and his saves to shots ratio is only 64,5% (one of the worst in the league), on the other hand he had 10 clean sheets which is joint 2-4th best.

If bought, should be given time to develop. Just don't expect miracles at first (most goalkeepers seem to be late bloomers anyway). I haven't seen a whole lot of him, maybe a dozen games or so, but he was capable of brilliant saves as well as few blunders.

What makes me optimistic about his future is that he seems to be rather down-to-earth and confident lad. I've seen an interview with him a year ago or so, and at 17 he seemed to be surprisingly mature for his age, quite outspoken, very laidback and unfazed by journo's catchy questions. I was quite impressed!

I saw both ekstraklasa stars and opposition crowd chatting shit to him or getting on his back at big games (Lech Poznań, Legia Warsaw) and he was still unfazed and wasn't afraid to stick a finger or chat back :) Surely not one of those "confidence players".

EDIT:

Just read what @Górnik said, I agree, should be loaned if bought

Is this signing really necessary if we already have a young understudy? Wouldn't we be better to get an older backup to Schmeichel - a younger version of Swartzer?

Dragowski looks like a star in the making if you look at his Fifa16 rating. I know, I know it's only a game but they do try and make it realistic and is the best reference point we have on unknown players.

The young Danish lad we bought in January wasn't even GK for the U21's in their last game so he might not be all that. If we can get a potential worldie on the cheap we should even if we overloaded in that position, let them fight it out to be No2 or get them on loan, competition even at that level can only be good.

If he goes the same way as he did for me on fifa, he'll replace Kasper after a month or 2 and after his first season he'll be the best keeper in the world.

Can imagine us signing him, Schmeichel leaving, Dragowski first team keeper aged 20, sold to Real Madrid for 1 billion aged 22 after winning the CL with us 3 times.

Bakircioglu, Selakovic, Kallstrom and Cherno Samba next please!

Champ man legends haha. I always signed these 4!

Hope we don't need to use all three at once in the Champions League. Irreverent thought, only joking. I actually think we'll do fine if we can actually complete on some of our important targets.
