AKCJ Posted 3 June 2016 Posted 3 June 2016 Not in the Euro squad for Germany and the team he was with (Hannover) relegated last season. How good actually is this guy? Hope he's going to be content to sit on the bench 99% of the time, too. People reckon he was the only reason Hannover didn't do a Derby last season. He's being kept out of the Germany squad by Neuer, Leno and Ter Stegen so I wouldn't read much into that.

Made the most saves of all keepers in the top divisions of Europe last year, which says a lot about the defence in front of him.
AKCJ Posted 3 June 2016 Posted 3 June 2016 Suuuuper super Ron. Suuuper super Ron suuuuper super ron super ronny zieler.

We're looking at a very hefty fixture list starting in July. Zieler will get a reasonable amount of games, I'm sure of it.
Fox42 Posted 3 June 2016 Posted 3 June 2016 Ron-Bob kinda looks like Kram so it's like nothing has changed. Half Kram half Klopp and it's slightly disturbing yet erotic
Tielemans63 Posted 3 June 2016 Posted 3 June 2016 I'm pleased to see the new keeper has a pair of hands. I've always thought goalkeepers with hands are the most effective. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
AjcW Posted 3 June 2016 Posted 3 June 2016 Hope his distribution is better than Kasper's. This is epic epic sarcasm right????
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 3 June 2016 Posted 3 June 2016 Crap shirt, though: It's a beautiful shirt Welcome RR
Fox92 Posted 3 June 2016 Posted 3 June 2016 This is epic epic sarcasm right???? No, Kasper's distribution is shit.
Vardinio'sCat Posted 3 June 2016 Posted 3 June 2016 Excellent piece of business, great work from the club. Welcome, Ron Robert Ron.
Wymsey Posted 3 June 2016 Posted 3 June 2016 Good signing. He looks like David de Gea, let's hope he's as good!
Vardinio'sCat Posted 3 June 2016 Posted 3 June 2016 No, Kasper's distribution is shit. Kasper does what he is told. If CR is happy with the way he plays, so am I.
lfu Posted 3 June 2016 Posted 3 June 2016 Crap shirt, though: I like it if only for it being the same disgusting yellow that my first Leicester shirt (2000-01 GK iirc) was!
LCCFox96 Posted 3 June 2016 Posted 3 June 2016 Nice, a bargain to bring in a keeper of his experience and pedigree at that price. A strong first signing and a statement of intent from the club.
MPH Posted 3 June 2016 Posted 3 June 2016 Crap shirt, though: Looks like Big Nige left some trainers behind that he had to borrow for the shoot....
MPH Posted 3 June 2016 Posted 3 June 2016 It will be interesting to see how we keep two quality keepers happy...
MC Prussian Posted 3 June 2016 Posted 3 June 2016 No, Kasper's distribution is shit. Erm, if I'm not mistaken, Schmeichel did contribute some decent kicks up the field that initiated dangerous counter attacks. I'm pretty sure he was the initial source of a couple of our goals this past season. His distribution surely isn't "shit" - show me a goalkeeper with pin-point accuracy.

Erm, if I'm not mistaken, I've seen him consistently kick the ball straight out of play too many times. It's all relative. People around me, including myself, get frustrated with it.
filbertstreet Posted 3 June 2016 Posted 3 June 2016 that goalkeeper shirt looks like someone doodled it with highlighters

People around me, including myself, get frustrated with it. I wouldn't call it shut but it's not great. It's okay. Out of his hands I can't think of a better distributor but when he's kicking he often puts it out of play/kicks it too long. He contributes a lot to our attacking prowess with his distribution.
