irish fans are the best

If English fans had picked up a random black bloke and started singing songs about Yaya Toure the front of the Guardian would be branding them all racist.

and harassing local people on buses and in their own homes. disgrace.

They would have got tear gassed for harassing locals.

Was anyone on here in the wetherspoons in Watford before the game ?

There was a little black bald bar man and the whole place broke into the NGolo Kante chant while rubbing him on the head

One of my highlights of last year lol

Girl: "Hey, what's your name?"

Boy: "Err..." *spots a van in the distance*

I watched Ireland v Wales in Paris - the Irish fans were undoubtedly better than the football - incredible spectacle.

Sort of pisses me off all that now , I'd rather be known as a decent side than the great lads for the craic

time we won a few tournament matches and made an impact on the pitch

Shame they don't bother to support football on their own island.

Some do, most just masturbate into Liverpool scarfs

Or Manchester United. A lot of Irish support either of those but both were formed as Catholic clubs though so that's probably where it stems. Plus you've got the many Irish the immigrated to Liverpool throughout history.

Not sure how many league of ireland games you have attended , I guess none but the League of ireland is improving so much so we even have thugs from England coming over ! Strange but true !

the facilities need improving at the grounds to try and bring in a better class and number of crowd

like many places in the world the premier league is the major attraction , but in ireland we have a summer football league and that has to compete with Gaelic Games , the national sports.

cork City was my LOI team growing up and I used to save my wages at 15 to take the 4 hour bus trip to watch my hero Dave Allen play at turners cross

I'll also throw it back at you VB and ask you to pop into any pub in Leicester when Liverpool are on the TV and see all the Leicester born Liverpool fans of Asian origin supporting the scousers , so the same could be said of any place , pity they didn't support their local team

they are certainly one of the best behaved fans and go to matches to support there team and not get involved in anything else

To be also fair English fans enjoy mingling with the Irish lads and there is good craic had by all  , Dublin in 96 was obviously a low point but those were not England suppprters that night those were right wing thugs
