For saying Kante has been a revelation, for saying Mahrez is world class, for knocking other posters for slating Schlupp or for saying Simpson has been our most improved player? you are being daft again 'arry. Just because not everybody thought Cambiasso was incredible it don't mean I don't think other players have been.

I genuinely think he's the best in the world at what he does and as such, we'd be losing a 'world class centre midfielder'. If it happens, we must hope the new lad has as big an influence on the team as Ngolo has had. Mini shoes to fill for sure.

At risk of being banned (now THATS literal), no I don't agree. And never have. A few didn't. As I said, read the thread through. To suggest that we in some way missed Cambiasso is barmy in the extreme. He left, we got Kante..and won the league. Whilst Cambi went on to not play much in Greece. I've been complimentary toward Cambiasso, in a recent thread. But no, I didn't rate him like you did. Not for us anyway. You loved him, fair enough. But if Kante leaves, that really could leave a dent.

He even tried to explain away the below and then he has the nerve to say I always need to be right Would rather come up with some convoluted because x = y and z > b Cambiasso and our midfield suddenly improved in late winter, rather than admit it was never the problem in the first place and our rather obvious defensive problems were, quite amazingly, solved by signing a good center half. I was under the impression Mendy has come in on the assumption Kante was probably going to bolt, seems to me like he could well stay now which would be amazing as I've had him out the door from the moment the final whistle at Stamford Bridge sounded. With Vardy and Kante both committed you would think Mahrez would give 16-17 a go as well. Contracts on the table lets see what happens.
