brisfox Posted 13 July 2016 Posted 13 July 2016 Dear N'Golo, I wanted , first of all, to say on behalf of all Foxes Fans, thank you for what you have done for our club. None of us ever thought what you guys achieved was possible. You now have to make a huge decision. You are going to be tempted with offers from some of the biggest clubs in the world , but before you sign on the dotted line, I wanted you to consider the following; 1) if you go to a "big" club, you may not start every game. Remember how you felt being an unused substitute in the Eurp 2016 final? At Leicester you are guaranteed to start 2) Money isn't everything and you could probably get more elsewhere. However, sign a new contract here and you will have more money than you can spend in a lifetime 3) When you are an old man, your grandchildren will not want to know how much you earned. They will want to see the video of you lifting that trophy with Leicester 4) Here at Leicester you are loved. This hardly ever happens. I don't know any set of fans that loves their team more than we do 5) Go down to Kate St in Leicester and see the mural with the players on. Would you get that at Chelsea or Madrid? 6) Just think for a moment. If you moved away and Leicester did the impossible and won the Champions League next year, how would you feel ? One thing I can guarantee is that Chelsea won't win it next year. N'Golo, if you do leave, it will be with our very best wishes. You will always be welcomed back . But, if you stay , you will become a true legend. This is a once in a lifetime decision. Best wishes Clive
Swarles Barkley Posted 13 July 2016 Posted 13 July 2016 If he wants to go let him go. Fvck having an unhappy player at the club regardless of how good he is. Also with everything that has happened in this last year doesnt convince him to stay then nothing will
Aus Fox Posted 13 July 2016 Posted 13 July 2016 Can't wait to hear his response... Please post your reply in here N'Golo
foxy boxing Posted 13 July 2016 Posted 13 July 2016 only the supporters kiss the badge and truly mean it, he has always stated(either privately or publicly)that he wants to play for one of the traditional big clubs. he needed a massive amount of persuasion to come hear in the first place and was initially very hesitant. I know it is sad and upsetting and is making some fans angry but that is the way football is we just have to make sure we can get a decent replacement. we will carry on without him like we were before him.i wish him well and hope he does the same for our club.
Guest MattP Posted 13 July 2016 Posted 13 July 2016 If he wants to go he can go. I'm not begging people to stay, even more so if they are moving to teams not even in Europe next year.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 13 July 2016 Posted 13 July 2016 We've already replaced him with a very good player anyway, he'll be remembered but out of the three dubbed to leave he's probably the last one now we need to worry about if he does go. I'm happy he's been quite honest and hasn't been blowing smoke up our arses as well
Finnegan Posted 13 July 2016 Posted 13 July 2016 I really hate these cringey, attention seeking, "speaking on behalf of everyone", "please give me rep points" open letter bullshit posts.
Webbo Posted 13 July 2016 Posted 13 July 2016 If there's one thing that makes my heart sink it's "open letters".
notnow john Posted 13 July 2016 Posted 13 July 2016 I really hate these cringey, attention seeking, "speaking on behalf of everyone", "please give me rep points" open letter bullshit posts. Are you mellowing?
Finnegan Posted 13 July 2016 Posted 13 July 2016 Are you mellowing? Yeah, I've gone from E-Tyson to Kitchensink Lite in my Internet dotage.
Izzy Posted 13 July 2016 Posted 13 July 2016 Just head from a reliable source that Kante was on the verge of signing for Chelsea this morning and at the bridge with his agent. Just before they went into meet the Chelsea representatives, Kante had a sneaky log in to FT and read this open letter. Apparently it changed his mind and they left and drove back to Leicester and he decided to stay with us and become a Leicester legend. The power of Internet football forums. Wow
Manwell Pablo Posted 13 July 2016 Posted 13 July 2016 Do you know what I've never seen? An Open Letter to Michael Barrymore. Odd that, Strike it Rich was a popular show. Or what is Strike it Lucky?....ok obviously not that popular.
weller54 Posted 13 July 2016 Posted 13 July 2016 We thought Cambiasso was irreplaceable... The rest is History.
Devonfox1884 Posted 13 July 2016 Posted 13 July 2016 An open letter to Clive... Dear Clive, no-one likes open letters. They are cringey and meaningless. Poor post buddy. Regards, Devon.
ozleicester Posted 13 July 2016 Posted 13 July 2016 Hi Clive, N'golo here. 1) How dare you suggest i wont start, they told me that about being at Leicester and look at me now 2) I like money 3) They can watch me lifting the cup, i have saved it on my harddrive and in the cloud. 4) To be honest, this love business is a little disconcerting, i keep getting open letters and pictures painted of me 5) Have you see the rest of Kate street? 6) If i go away, Leicester wont win the CL Thank you All the best to you Clive Hugs, N'golo xoxo
brisfox Posted 13 July 2016 Author Posted 13 July 2016 All I'm saying is that we wrote a letter to Vardy and it worked. Remember when MON was on the verge of going to Leeds and the signs came out asking him to stay and he said that it was the fans reaction that night that convinced him to stay. I love Kante as I have never seen a better player in a City shirt. I want him to stay and if telling him how we feel, what is wrong with that. By the way, if you don't think players read Foxestalk, then you are being naive.
fuchsntf Posted 13 July 2016 Posted 13 July 2016 Hes been offered a four year contract..wage increase. details unknown. I presume some clauses... 1) He does the next season, if out of CL place, we wont stand in the way. 2) 25mil starting point.any team show interest thats the get out clause 3) jan.17 . OUT of CL, low league position, his agent can look for offers. Now,!! Why bother looking negative. We again will suprise many, Kante being one of the reasons. Next round CL cups runs Chasing top 4 again.

Right, tell me again about the time Jamie Vardy logged on to FoxesTalk and read the open letter, as well no doubt as the other comments giving him shit. Then called up Wenger and told him to stick his contract up his Arsenal. Classic night on FT that one..
brisfox Posted 13 July 2016 Author Posted 13 July 2016 All I'm saying is that players read these blogs. I have little doubt that money is the biggest motivating factor for these guys, however, if you read something nice about yourself, you are far more likely to stay somewhere where you feel wanted. Does any Leicester fan honestly want Kante to leave. If you do, you must be crackers
fuchsntf Posted 13 July 2016 Posted 13 July 2016 Jesus..people getting uptight about open letters...!!! A fan whether 12 or 112yrs old , is just showing his emotions, on hoping a top player will stay. Why be spitefull, it makes non of you superior or more knowledgable.
