Owners buy the whole team a fleet of BMW i8's

Cost of leasing the cars, around £1100 per car per month. Fully tax deductible for the club. Lowest rate of company car tax for the players Total cost per year, around £350,000. Makes great sense all round. Very small change for the club.

Apparently they are personalised inside. They won't be leased.

Yeah he only needs to train a week and he could get one. Bet he's devastated

You've obviously never won anything as a team before.

He could buy a fleet and it wouldn't match being given one as part of the championship winning team.

To me it looks like this seasons squad have been given a car and them 19 players are basically our squad?

Some of the back room staff have one as well - certainly John Rudkin has. Not sure if they count in the 19 or additional.

I bet NGolo is pissed off.

Unlikely but I'd like to hope so.

What about all the other hard working staff that help run this club, what did they get !!! Extra £200 in there pay packet, or

perhaps a years free bus pass.

It's usual that staff within the club - certainly senior staff bit I bet the impression others too - also profit from success in the field. Promotion to the premier league doesn't just boost player salaries, for instance.

Would not surprise me at all if N'Golo got one tbh. Or was at least offered one. Our owners are absolute class acts.

It was reported that he didn't - but could be wrong of course.

Can't understand the negativity to be honest. Great gesture by the owners. Good publicity for the club. Link with BMW. Eco friendly motors. Where is the downside?

some comments smack to me of jealousy. Odd really when we support a team whose lowest paid players probably earn in a month what the best paid of us earn in a year.

They should drive them all down to Chelsea's training ground ,call him over as the owners give him his keys ,and In a Jeremy Beadle moment crush his as the others roll about the floor laughing kicking their legs like in the Beano.

That will learn him( yes I know)
