Gav_LCFC14 Posted 5 August 2016 Posted 5 August 2016 I'm sure BMW sponsored them, but still a great gesture from VS , the owner that keeps on giving
Adster Posted 5 August 2016 Posted 5 August 2016 Wondered why I seen a few of them outside the ground a few weeks ago.
davieG Posted 5 August 2016 Posted 5 August 2016 Well they had to use the membership cash for something
lgfualol Posted 5 August 2016 Posted 5 August 2016 and I'm happy when I get new stationery from my employers.

norwichfox Posted 5 August 2016 Posted 5 August 2016 Jeez....they cost nearly as much as 1 week Kunte's wages
Tielemans63 Posted 5 August 2016 Posted 5 August 2016 Really wish I'd become a professional footballer and not a teacher - big mistake. I got the best results the department had ever seen and the Head bought me a Cadbury's cream egg.
MrSpaM Posted 5 August 2016 Posted 5 August 2016 Is there a free 'pie and a car' for every fan at the first home game as well?
Collymore Posted 5 August 2016 Posted 5 August 2016 It would cost them £2billion to buy the 20,000 fans who had booking references from the League 1 season. Get it done Top ps. Mind picking the tab up for insurance too?
Wymsey Posted 5 August 2016 Posted 5 August 2016 When will all this stop? Us supporters deserve more, like some more free food and drinks at games imo.
melrose Posted 5 August 2016 Posted 5 August 2016 All we get is a lager and a cheap doughnut....if we're lucky!

Tuna Posted 5 August 2016 Posted 5 August 2016 What happened to those horrendous electric Mercedes' they bought the team ?
weller54 Posted 5 August 2016 Posted 5 August 2016 ...not that they can afford to buy their own cars? Obscene really and totally out of step with what's going on in the real world!
ealingfox Posted 5 August 2016 Posted 5 August 2016 Sure a few of the players prob have better cars than that already. Nice gesture but a pretty wasteful and unnecessary one.

Nice gesture but a pretty wasteful and unnecessary one. I think it look like I might (again) be one of the only ones who's first thought here was 'why'? To make a present of another brand new motor to fellas who, as you say, probably all drive better cars already..why? They'll probably just sell em anyway and get another however many grand in the bank. I must be getting old but it's stuff like this that continues to turn me off the Premiership and football in general. There is so much money flying around its valueless (is that a word?) And for Joe Public it's yet another reason why footballers have become ever more distant from the rest of us, and reality. The kids that make footballers their 'hero's' so to speak makes little sense either really. What they are are simply blokes with a gift..in this case being good at footy, who are lavished with literally everything from the age of 18. I love football but it's leaving an even more bitter taste in my mouth. Especially when I'm scraping cash together to get my next car...probably a Ford Focus...
