Callabinho Posted 13 August 2016 Posted 13 August 2016 Teams can finally come through the middle against us. Last season we were able to force teams out wide and allow Huth and Morgan to play to their strengths. We're trying to play on the same vain but losing Kante has meant that we can't do the job properly, we're getting overrun in midfield thus allowing Hull to have a spare man every time they come forward. We we don't stand a chance of winning this game, and unless we either a) find an actually Kante like for like replacement b) work an another way of playing.

purpleronnie Posted 13 August 2016 Posted 13 August 2016 This is depressing, I predicted a draw, hopefully we'll actually start playing like champions soon.

Midfield is all over the place! We are being over ran! Hull are going through the middle of us. We played more of a back 6 (including Kasper) than a back 5, the defence is shaky same as if a GK leaves a solid defence (Cech with Chelsea for example) But if you think that a player isn't being missed due to a goal from set piece and error by GK then you think that. Hull had done bugger all, created nothing. We were totally on top second half and Kasper just gifted them the ball. The goal wasn't even through the middle it went down the side and was crossed in. of course a quality player will be missed, but it's not responsible for every single player not being capable of doing the basics.
roblcfc84 Posted 13 August 2016 Posted 13 August 2016 It's been poor tbf and I'm normally very optimistic - without a decent CM we've got no chance
Drygon Posted 13 August 2016 Posted 13 August 2016 I think Leicester are going to loss this game, sadly...

Definitely need a monster Midfielder and Defender. Pay up for Keane (or better) And for gods sake get a box-to-box midfielder

Jam Posted 13 August 2016 Posted 13 August 2016 Ive got a feeling Shinji will change this game for us.
adam Posted 13 August 2016 Posted 13 August 2016 Mahrez needs to stop all this fancy bollox. Concentrate on the basics ffs .

Exactly what I said over the past week We can't play a midfield duo with our current personnel. It absolutely will not work
