DB11 Posted 17 August 2016 Posted 17 August 2016 "exits will not be opened to access smoking areas at any time." Well that's gonna be as successful as it was when they tried that last season. It will lead to the toilets being horrible and smoky and affect other supporters! No longer serving bottled beer? Why is that? For all those times that bottles were thrown onto the pitch? The draught is shit

The draught is shit I can only imagine that perhaps people were hiding bottles in coats/jackets and taking them out in to the stand. To avoid it, serving draught in a plastic pint glass is much harder to hide so it avoids all kind of possibility of taking alcohol in to the stand.

I regularly see people bring plastic pint glasses under their coats etc. Stewards haven't got a clue. People are hardly going to lob bottles at the pitch in the home end. I'd like to think people know they would get banned.

But then people 'invade' pitches knowing there's a possibility of a life ban hitting them yet they still do it.

Sometimes people just need to take responsibility for themselves!

I just take an empty hot drinks container from the shelf and pour my pint into it
Trav Le Bleu Posted 17 August 2016 Posted 17 August 2016 You forgot to mention that Mahrez will not be playing for Arsenal.
Kitchandro Posted 17 August 2016 Posted 17 August 2016 Why are they so desperate to get people in early?

Buzzell Posted 17 August 2016 Posted 17 August 2016 Would be nice if they actually employed people who could pull a bastard pint.
GaelicFox Posted 17 August 2016 Posted 17 August 2016 This is possible related to the Thialands current political and terrorism issues the owners are very well connected to the military junta and the royals , and we have become the unofficial team of Thialand I suspect the bottles relates to previous liquid explosive issues

Buzzell Posted 17 August 2016 Posted 17 August 2016 Looks like the toilets will remain the smoking area for this season. Wonderful

fazzyfox Posted 18 August 2016 Posted 18 August 2016 I was hoping this was going to be due to a trophy parade before kick off going very slowly past the away end (and via the away dressing room) whilst we all sing "Who are we?". It'll be just like watching Tottenham from now on - no bottle.
TheLittleBigMan Posted 18 August 2016 Posted 18 August 2016 I don't understand this trend of increased security. What exactly are we supposed to be afraid of? There is no threat. I can see this becoming the norm and I don't agree with it.
