Thought I'd check out his wiki & it seems an ostrich has been editing things.

Question though...if it's true and we have made an 11th hour enquiry, why? At present we have a much bigger pull than Southampton and if he is genuinely one of our targets then we should have got it wrapped up weeks ago (yes I know it sometimes depends on the availability of other targets)...he looks like he could be Mahrez Mk2 but playing on the left and cutting in...

I really do hope we are going for this guy, after we were too late going for that Ousmane Dembele guy who went to Dortmund, this was the next best option (in Europe at least). If we are not going for Luan and with that Barbosa chap at Inter, I would love for us to hijack this deal.

Finnegan - surely if you do not like a topic, just avoid it? You sound like this topic's existence is a personal slight on your character and is an offence to the eye?

Would be a great no.10 for us, he's a nightmare to defend against, especially playing Tiki-Taka with Mahrez, can't see it happening though

Enough with the winger links it's clear for all to see that we need a centre back as the thought of Morgan or Huth getting injured or suspended gives me shudders, a centre midfielder because we haven't replaced Kante yet and a striker because we only have four for 50+ matches and we are only an injury away from being incredibly lightweight in that position. That's three players in less then a week, it's time to start throwing some serious cash about.

We currently already have three centre backs not getting a game. How about we let the new guy find his feet and see how he goes before we bin him off and but someone else because you don't have the patience to wait and see. Benny didn't do much wrong when he played and Was is solid enough for the odd game.

It's also debatable we need another striker, you'll end up with an expensive purchase not even getting on the bench if you have buy another. Four strikers should be plenty, if there is an injury then you have the option of playing Kapustka or Mahrez at 10. Not ideal... But neither is overloading the squad with people who won't even get in the squad.

Same goes for midfield, we've bought two DM's since we signed Kante. Two we seem to be binning off before trying by the looks of it.  Now with Inler maybe going and James likely to need a loan another one wouldn't go amiss.

Benny is never getting a game here, Was is about 52 and Hernandez looks poor, which isn't surprising for a free transfer from Sporting Gijon.

If you don't think we'd benefit from quality reinforcement at centre half then that's you being daft, not everyone else.

Hernandez has had one game, since when did they become enough time to judge people and bin them off? If the club didn't have faith he had ability they wouldn't have signed him.

Of course better players in every position are welcome. But people aren't living in the real world, you can't just keep buying and buying and not giving people a chance.

Essentially what's happening is people are saying x player didn't cost enough so I don't trust them... Despite the fact I've barely seen them play.

If one goes out then we need another one. But I'm not going to sit here and demand another when I've barely seen two of those we already have play.
