Life will forever be better than we ever imagined. It's just a shame that the team are putting a slight downer on it all by now being one of the best paid sides in the world, whilst clearly not putting in the same amount of effort as last year.

And also the fact the club was in the best position in its history and we've messed it up.

 

To loyal to average players, overpaying them and not performing well in the transfer market including not replacing our best player.

 

Nobody can defend that.

I think it's dead easy to put a downer on things, especially when we've all been so up.

You can see it on the forum...there's now the opportunity to be pessimistic, so some people will be.

The real question is this: do you see us improving? Despite the fact we are playing badly, will it last or will we bounce back again? If you think we will, then fine.

If you think we WON'T then I understand the fact that people are pissed off.

Personally, I think we are short of quality now. Sort that in January..a few new faces, freshen things up a little..and we'll be ok.

I'm kind of resigned to, until then, I think we will continue to struggle, especially after Middlesborough (which I think we'll win).

My main concern is how far behind we could potentially be by January. 

Up until then we have 7 winnable games excluding the Man city match & right now I honestly can't see us taking to many points from those matches.

Give me a sign of improvement col, give me a sign that we have any tactics or game plan, give me a sign the players are bothered, give me a sign of Claudio doing anything different, or changing what's not working.

The truth is there is none, and I cannot see where the next points coming from, when our defence has more leaks than the titanic, and we have had what 4 shots at goal in two games.

Claudio talks about not being concerned, it's a bad patch, but it will only continue, if you do the same thing over and over, and get the same results, all this pisses me off.

Not delusions of grandeur, not over expectations, as I don't care if we finish just above relegation, expected mid table at the start of the season.

I just want to watch my team not roll over every away game, I want to watch my side create chances, and look like they know what they are doing, I want us to look like we could win a game.

If we had all this I would be happy win, lose or draw, I just cannot stand seeing us clueless, with no fight, and struggling to see where the next point is coming from, especially as a point a game is relegation form.

Transfers or not, barring kante, the majority of this squad won the league last season, so I don't think it's lack of quality, I personally think the players now think they are better than they are, and don't press teams, don't do the basic's right, and everything else that made them successful, and they are letting the manager and fans down.

Even now, that still brings tears to my eyes. I still cannot believe it.

I watched that at a friends in Botswana surrounded by baffled Motswanas, Zimbos and expats. I don't remember anything after the trophy lift. I woke up outside in the bush looking up at the stars and in a lot of pain - I still have the scars which are now permanent reminders.

 

im going to watch it again.

There's a lot of frustration but our last two performances have been the most concerning.

 

From pre season we've been on the back foot. Defeat at Hull, capitulation at Chelsea, Liverpool and Man Utd. Our home performances have been so so. Burnley and Swansea looked poor teams, I thought we looked ok against Arsenal, Palace could have troubled us if they could have finished their chances, Southampton was just a nothing performance.

 

We're soft in midfield and with Kasper out look a bit more disorganised at the back. The players need to stop shooting themselves in the foot. Mahrez was trying to beat three men twice over on Saturday. Okazaki picked the ball up in midfield and instead of running into the acres of space to his right turns left into two Watford players and loses the ball. Keep it simple.
