If he can find the form and fitness he has previously shown, he would be ahead of King and Amartey imo. would be great to see the lad get some game time. After sitting out the whole of last season, it must of been so hard as a professional footballer to be sat on the sidelines missing out on your teammates success. It would also be nice to see him play post-cambiasso, (can't believe it's been that long!!) could only be an asset imo. Having said that you should probably also know that I thought Inler was going to be a midfield general and Claudio a failure so wtf do I know? probaly a waste of time reading this tbh

Bang average and yet ahead of our now number one central midfielder at the time he was injured? I don't think anybody believes he is Iniesta, just more capable, adaptable and effective than King or Amartey

Slimani would come good with the right service, he's a fox in the box and recently we've barely been putting it anywhere near the box to get a sniff. Same goes for Vardy really. Our issues are in midfield, which is why we might struggle today with Drinkwater out. We desperately need Mendy to get fully fit, from what I have seen of him, admittedly mostly from youtube clips, he's a sound passer of the ball and does the simple stuff really well - which is what we need really - someone alongside Drinky that doesn't treat the ball like a hot potato. Today, we just need to hope King & Amartey step up to the task. But Boro are a good side. It's difficult to call this one.
