foxfanazer Posted 25 November 2016 Posted 25 November 2016 Definitely preferring the Okazaki in the middle option. Bundles of energy and wins the ball back quite a bit. Whatever we do isn't ideal but it just shows how poor recruitment was in the summer
kingcarr21 Posted 25 November 2016 Posted 25 November 2016 You just know Nugent is going to come off the bench to score the winner
Guest Lako42 Posted 25 November 2016 Posted 25 November 2016 What a miserable state it is on here. 'Best we can hope for is a draw' Jesus wept
filbertstreet Posted 25 November 2016 Posted 25 November 2016 nugent with a hat trick of own goals please
Wymsey Posted 25 November 2016 Posted 25 November 2016 Hoping for a decent atmosphere, despite the apparent banning of clappers. Prediction is too tough to call, don't really know what to expect with the midfield problem with Drinkwater out in mind.
Libertine Posted 25 November 2016 Posted 25 November 2016 Let's go hipster 4-2-3-1. King + Amartey 3 of Mahrez, Shinji, Gray, Jeff, Albrighton, Moose, Vardy Vards or Slim
Livid Posted 25 November 2016 Posted 25 November 2016 A winnable game but if we go with King and Amartey in a basic 4-4-2 we won't have much bite in the middle. Kingy plays it safe and Amartey just doesn't look confident enough and lets the game pass him by a bit.

I still think we'll win 2-1. Borough are no great shakes whatsoever and if we pick the right formation we'll beat them at home.
ozvaldo Posted 25 November 2016 Posted 25 November 2016 I really hope and pray that Albrighton starts on the left and for 90 minutes continuously stops, checks back in onto his right foot and crosses it from anywhere without looking up. I love it when he does that.

We literally do this all game despite the fact Vardy is small and Okazaki hasn't got enough pace to keep up so the only man in the 6 yard box is one of the smallest on the whole pitch. Gibson's going to have a great day tomorrow.
suffolk fox Posted 25 November 2016 Posted 25 November 2016 Doom and gloom pass us the petrol can and the lighter foxes fans or so called. Are we playing Barcelona this weekend because the last I looked it was Middlesborough who have just come up from the Championship. We are at home, are the Champions of England and are in the last sixteen of the best sides in Europe, YES, EUROPE. We will win and win well. One, suggests some on here ring the Samaritans or clear off and support Direby or Florist instead.

ozvaldo Posted 25 November 2016 Posted 25 November 2016 (I was joking about wanted to see Kingy and Amartey in the middle together) - just for those who didn't realise I was being sarcastic!

Schlupp. Not suggesting he should move Fuchs but it's something I hadn't thought of before and he is a bloody brilliant footballer so there is a possibility he could fill in on the left of a 3. Can't see that happening in a million years though

I also hope we have a bit more of the huthwessimpson "oh shit I have the ball and a lot of time and space" continuous panicked lob out for a goalkick or to the head of a 6ft defender.
WigstonWanderer Posted 25 November 2016 Posted 25 November 2016 Watched these against Chelsea and was quite impressed. I don't think this will be an easy win.
tyfox Posted 25 November 2016 Posted 25 November 2016 I'm confident today. I was very worried but I'm confident now for some reason. We will change formation to wing backs and rip these apart come on you foxes
Gazza M Posted 25 November 2016 Posted 25 November 2016 Definite change of shape for this. Boro play usually just one up front. I expect them to park the bus and hit us the break. I would go 4-3-2-1 and use our own pace to put them under pressure Zieler Simpson Morgan Huth Fuchs King Amartey Okazaki Musa Marhez Vardy Subs: Hamer, Hernandez, Schlupp, Albrighton, Gray, Ulloa, Wasyl
jim5000 Posted 25 November 2016 Posted 25 November 2016 Ranieri already said he won't change formation, it was in an interview on the official website. They were just working on 'the players movement' without Drinky.

Your constant criticism of Amartey is a bit over the top to be honest.Typical Leicester fans,a player is highlighted as struggling and suddenly he is the new scapegoat as everyone jumps on the bandwagon. He is far from the finished article but I think has plenty of potential. There have been worse performers this season. As said previously, amazing how one eyed some fans can be,at the start of last season this place was full of comments stating Drinkwater just was not up to it and our midfield was shot without Cambiasso.!!
