What Ian Watkins did is already illegal. Child Porn is illegal, assaulting / killing people is illegal, having sex with animals is (I think?) illegal. Governments seem very intent on censoring pornography which, whilst inappropriate for children is pretty harmless but fairly lax about the real danger to youngsters which is social media. Why not have blocks and age restrictions on facebook instead? Why not have tight restrictions on horror films, which in my opinion could be far more scarring to a child? Or are we just still being run by a religious state? (P.S. I'm not into pissing videos)

I think it might have something to do with the U.S recently giving up control of the internet. l it might be illegal, but that doesnt stop people having access to it because we dont/ didnt control the the internet... Maybe some of this is now about giving us the power to decide what comes into this country through the internet Now that Countries can have more of a say...

I could articulate myself a little more in the way that some of the posters above have done about exactly why it isn't a good idea, but it looked like that had been done already. I would think being aggravated at a government attempting to legislate morality is enough reason to be annoyed about this one. And add to that the hypocrisy of many of our dear representatives who do like to partake in that sort of thing (pigs heads and all that)... Really, the entire British attitude towards matters of the bedroom has always been laughably repressed (except in a nudge nudge wink wink kind of way) and it's a shame that this is being reflected in this new attempted legislation.
