Five Bruges Fans arrested

Five away supporters were arrested at Leicester City's Champions League match against Club Brugge on Tuesday.

A 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer at the King Power Stadium.

 

Three men – aged 29, 20 and 18 – were detained on suspicion of racially aggravated public order offences.

A further 45-year-old man was also arrested for assault.

 

 

A police spokeswoman said: "We arrested three people for racially aggravated offences and two more for assault.

"The men were detained at the King Power Stadium and are still in custody with us.

"They were all away fans."

She added: "Neither Leicestershire Police or Leicester City Football Club will not tolerate racist behaviour."

I'm suprised some of them made it to the game as some of them had been knocking on pub doors at 7am the morning of the game. All the Brugge fans we spoke to in the pubs afterwards seemed decent lads.

Im not offended and their fans sound like they were being complete dicks. I just think its abit rich to go on about their fans behaviour infront of your 9 year old and then openly come out with comments like that infront of them. Would you be happy if your kid then came out with stuff like that because you said it first? We really need to move on from where gay is considered some sort of insult.

I think the comments just some him up. Moaning Bruges fans were giving it some while he's with his 9yo son. So instead of ignoring them he gives it some back. I bet his son is more adult than he is.
