I genuinely don't get the fascination with him, its a bit weird really.

But the quote above saying he might just be shit in training and should play anyway explains a lot.

I think alot of fans find it surprising that he's gone from representing one of the top countries in Europe, in a major tournament, to not being ready for a below average PL team, a few months later. Especially when you see Jeff is ahead of him and playing some of the worse football of his career. I definitely expected a few sub appearances by now.

They think he's too slow.

I don't need to have seen him in training, for the U23s or for Cracovia to know that he isn't worse than Schlupp has generally been this season.

If he's not good enough then that is an appalling signing. Clearly bought on the back of a few televised games rather than any proper scouting. Amateurish if so.

Yea, what are the club thinking making a speculative signing of a young lad with potential.

Absolute laughing stock we are.

Who is never in the match day squad either.

Great point

You might want to look back at quite a few of our matchday squads.

Will he play in the Cup at Everton? Why not?

No point not playing him as that's like having an expensive and potentially great car in your garage and then not taking it out on the road in case it gets scratched or dirty. We have so far this season played safe and bumbled around in what we know - battered up Vauxhall and Ford battlebuses - that is never going to impress!

Come on Claudio dream a little, anything is possible. Oh yes and believe and fight together of course. I reckon therefore he will have to play Waselewski too to offer some additinal Kaputska protection insurance.

I would love to see Was shadowing Kaputska around the pitch and dropping an elbow into anyone who tackles him.

Apologies if it is buried in this thread, but I am yet to see any fully credible explanation about why he has featured so little.  He had demonstrated some real aptitude at international level, so I can only conclude that he may have an attitude problem or "something else" has happened.  My guess is that if you asked anyone closely involved with the club they would have an answer, but it's been kept pretty closely under wraps so far.

He finger blasted Ranieri daughter in the car park on his first week at the club, the next day he awoke to a horses head in his bed. The don hasn't spoken to him since.

As in speed wise or slow footballing brain?

Speed over ground. Lovely footballer and technically good, but not deemed strong enough or quick enough.

If half of these stories about players not being quick enough or strong enough, we've definitely got the Italian Tony Pulis managing us.

Yeah ok.

No need to loan him out to see if he can 'hack it'.

Just give him a couple of games while the AFCON is going on and then we might find out one way or another.

While it would be great to see him play against Everton, I just don't see it happening. I'm sure we will set up super defensive and try to scrape a 0-1. Only to lose 4-1 because we have them to much space rather than attack them.

Seems harsh.

Riyad is lightweight and hardly rapid.

Turns out a player can be registered with 3 clubs between July 1st and June 30th but can only play official matches for 2 clubs.

Quote

A player may only be registered with one club at a time. 3.
Players may be registered with a maximum of three clubs during one season. During this period, the player is only eligible to play official matches for two clubs

Now, I know he's been on the bench but he hasn't actually played for us. So, could we loan him out?
