EnderbyFox Posted 30 November 2016 Posted 30 November 2016 This is all becoming a bit of a farce, and we are reportedly going to spend 14M on another 19 year old in January, how long is it going to take for him to be "premier league ready"?

He might only need to be Championship ready.

Regular first team football, international football, to now a game each week with a bunch of kids that aren't going to have anywhere near the career that Kapustka will have.

If that is true I'm not surprised we haven't seen him.
Guest Chocolate Teapot Posted 30 November 2016 Posted 30 November 2016 Hossain Kaebi mk2 This is the tip of the iceberg. There's major unrest at the club...Gray and Chilwell will want out next. The esteemed football directors and Ranieri's focus only on the first team has caused backroom upset and this will end in tears.

How do you know there's major unrest at the club give it a rest mate I'm sure a polish youngster refusing to play centre mid for our under 23 side will cause the downfall and self destruction of Leicester city. We suddenly get a bit more luck and grab a couple of wins, out of nowhere everything will be right and Rosey again

Ric Flair Posted 1 December 2016 Posted 1 December 2016 I wouldn't ridicule Abrasive's post quite so quickly. There's definitely some rumblings of things not being hunky dory and it's not just because our league position isn't good enough.

People don't like to think it's not all rosey in the camp but it should be obvious even without inside knowledge just by looking at some of the arguing and in-fighting on the pitch this season. Half of the squad want to push on from last season whilst the other half are happy to rest on their laurels. The self motivation of some of the squad is pathetic.

Been to every away game this season can't say I have seen any of this in fighting and arguing you mention. Away from home, if anything we don't show any fight but simply roll over to let the opposition score at will. Granted, we are having a poor season compared to last but let's not make things up saying things like there is unrest in the camp.

So you haven't seen Danny Simpson taking lumps out of Zieler for one? Last season if we conceded a goal, the team put their heads down and got on with it. Numerous times this season when we've conceded there's been arguing and putting the blame on each other. Drinky blew his top at Watford when they scored their first goal and Riyad stormed off down the tunnel after the game. You don't have to believe there is tension in the squad but that doesn't mean it's not there.

You don't think Hernandez is a good buy for nothing? Zieler was only ever going to be back up Mendy has had awful luck with injury so not sure how you can judge him on a couple of games. Kaputska is one for the future Slimarni is class and as you say Gray has potential Kante well what can you say.! That leaves Inler and Benny who are bad buys That's 2 out of your list of 11 players personally I think that's quite a good record you can't get everyone right! i dont think Benny has been a bad buy, hes been out for months with a back injury and ive seen him play a few times. Completely dominates in U23 games and imo he is the thing we're missing in defense, he holds back, has a little pace and gives players an option when theyre in trouble, his passing was quite good too. Not seen enough of him in first team though so thats a shame

Harvey Barnes looks more like a £7m player. Can't be true, he made Kazakhstan look like Kazakhstan in an international game a few months ago. I refuse to accept he's not ready, he absolutely is ready in my own head.

Mahrez not passing to Vardy says it all really. Obvious something is not right.
evil jack Posted 1 December 2016 Posted 1 December 2016 There was certainly no love lost between Slimani & Vardy during the Copenhagen home game. A proper argument going on in the centre circle at one point...

RowlattsFox Posted 1 December 2016 Posted 1 December 2016 Players argue more when results are going badly. Shock horror.
adejo92 Posted 1 December 2016 Posted 1 December 2016 If i was Kaputska and was asked to play for U23's i'd probably tell em to stick it up their arse as well. Within the space of months going from setting up Lewandowski to setting up some kid who works 3 days a week at the local chip shop. Lucky we have contracts so he's trapped, for now.. I can see Gray wanting out soon if he isnt taken seriously, great prospect and an utter waste keeping the subs bench warm.
