Abysmal in general build up play and his headers that seem like an age ago were pretty much handed to him on a plate. Mendy is fit now, has been since Porto yet still doesn't start. Even without Drinky in the team

I personally dont know nothing about the lad but the same could have been said about his ex-team mate Ndidi. However, if we scouted Ndidi like I am sure we did Im certain that if any other player stood out from Genk we would have gone for him. He is also Jamaican and Im sure Wes would have known about the lad and would have given an opinion if asked. If he was for us Im certain we would have made a double bid at the time but obviously we couldnt have rated him highly enough to warrant a bid.
