Fox92 Posted 28 December 2016 Posted 28 December 2016 I once scored quite a few for me on FM so that means he's good.

Brainy Posted 28 December 2016 Posted 28 December 2016 He did become the absolute stand out player in Russia for me on FM
Gav_LCFC14 Posted 28 December 2016 Posted 28 December 2016 £30 million budget to bump up our defense and midfield , will spend £18 million on a striker, sounds like our policy .

Cannot get relegated if we win all our games 5-4 (I joke ofc have to insert that on here with some of the peeps present on here)
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 28 December 2016 Posted 28 December 2016 We're in competition with Stoke apparently for Selke. Stoke Sentinel and Talksport reporting on the story too. Being as the report about the owners giving Ranieri 30m to spend includes a striker as one of the priorities, I think Selke may well be an option. http://www.stokesentinel.co.uk/stoke-city-fighting-it-out-with-leicester-for-german-striker/story-30016243-detail/story.html http://talksport.com/football/transfer-fight-leicester-and-stoke-battle-rb-leipzig-striker-davie-selke-161228221823

I've got to be honest I was a little surprised when I saw the report yesterday (Ranieri given 30m to spend) which stated that we're in for a striker in the January transfer window. We're well stocked aren't we? Vardy, Okazaki, Musa, Slimani. I mean, maybe a replacement for Ulloa? Slimani out at AFCON? I'd have thought the forward options we have now are easily good enough. I'm intrigued to see Musa get a run in the side in January, hopefully. I still feel there's more to come from him, but that goes for most of our summer signings for me.
Simoken Posted 28 December 2016 Posted 28 December 2016 You wont see him play first team this year.. if we get him. same with kapustka. Development squad for future leicester or chanpionship team if it goes to shit. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
Guest Posted 28 December 2016 Posted 28 December 2016 We need somebody to make some chances or no striker is going to score.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 28 December 2016 Posted 28 December 2016 I've heard he is very good but when things don't go for him he errm errm Selkes . . . . Taxi for one.
sdb Posted 28 December 2016 Posted 28 December 2016 We have 5 strikers who can all excel at this level in the right system/mind frame. If two thirds of our budget goes on a forward then we deserve everything we get (I.e. Conceding 2/3 goals a game for the rest of the season).
Melbourne Fuchs Posted 28 December 2016 Posted 28 December 2016 Will we need to sellke Ulloa to make room for him?

ALC Fox Posted 28 December 2016 Posted 28 December 2016 I don't really see the point of this. Vardy is clearly untouchable. So much so that we're not getting the best out of him or Slimani now, and Okazaki and Ulloa aren't getting enough game time. I guess they might want another body in if Ulloa goes but there are other areas that need strengthening. It's all well and good getting a decent finisher in (Kram springs to mind) but if we can't create chances for him then what's the point. Vardy hadn't had a shot on target for a long time before Man City. We have to sort our defence and midfield out. They have to be the priorities. And we need players who are capable of retaining possession and putting the ball just in front of Vardy's feet and onto Slimani's forehead.
SheppyFox Posted 28 December 2016 Posted 28 December 2016 Our championship standard midfield should be the area we fix first surely?
