He won't be able to do that if he plays CAM. Mahrez has played CAM numerous times and has not impressed at all. Well Snodgrass has 7 goals and 4 assists compared to Ramirez' 2 goals and 3 assists, in my opinion that makes Snodgrass a better bet. If you disagree then fair enough. As for Mahrez, what I actually said was that he hasn't had a run of games at CAM. He's only been asked to play there sporadically and whilst I agree he hasn't impressed, he has never had a decent run of games in that position.- largely because we haven't got anyone of sufficient quality to take his position on the wing. I think he's got the attributes to be a good 10, he's just not had time to learn the position - again, that's my opinion. I get that Ramirez is a CAM and that's what we need but he's not the answer IMHO.

Then yes. I think a Ramirez and Vardy or Ramirez and Slimani combination offers more than a Vardy and Slimani combination, to put it in simple terms.

Obviously can't answer the question because you know you'd be wrong answering with either of them. Glad to see you agree that Ramirez isn't currently good enough to start in a central attacking role for us.

When did I say Ramirez wouldn't start for us? my 1st choice striker would be Slimani, but if we are away at a top 4 club and want to play counter attacking football, Vardys your man.

Like either one of them would be happy to be dropped to see a crap player like Ramirez start every game. Vardy's the talisman and Slimani is the record signing. Neither would be happy to be constantly picked then dropped. Ramirez is simply nowhere near the level of either player or Mahrez.

I guess my statement is a bit of an exaggeration. But we should have had better continuity from last season, by keeping to what we know, with regards player selection (all be it minus just Kante, whom we never replaced adequately)
