I highly doubt he would come to Leicester at our current situation.

But we're Leicester City :)

We're a much bigger club than Boro, our sports science, facilities, group spirit, fact that we are reigning Champions and in the Champions league, not exactly a dull proposition for a footballer like Ramirez.

Like either one of them would be happy to be dropped to see a crap player like Ramirez start every game. Vardy's the talisman and Slimani is the record signing. Neither would be happy to be constantly picked then dropped. Ramirez is simply nowhere near the level of either player or Mahrez.

Know player wants to be dropped. But if players like Vardy are not performing, they don't deserve to start. We have 1 creative player in our squad of 25. Stop him and that's it, we don't win. We need other options.

I was talking about Gylfi

That was with respect to Boro as well, I'm not saying we're massively bigger but we are a more exciting club at the moment... Gylfi would be an ace signing, I am somewhat surprised that we've not vested any interest in him.

He'd be about £35m.

He's well settled in Swansea, by all accounts.

If we were more mid table, I think that would help, but we're not! I think he would view the move to us as too much of a gamble. We could easily still go down, after all.

Snodgrass meeting at West Ham tomorrow. Middlesborough were in for him, so that will make letting Ramirez go slightly less appealing!

Hopefully they can still get Jese and Bojan. Otherwise, I can see us being told he won't be sold in this window. Hope we have alternatives lined up.

For those saying Ramirez isn't good enough, then surely they should remember how signing a guy from non league turned out or a certain unknown short midfielder from France.

Why are people so insistent to write players off before they even kick a ball for us. Have we not learnt from past experiences yet?

The fact that a fellow Premier League team don't want him to leave either, or that their fans think highly of him, is surely a better judge than us.

As for having to drop some of our "star" players to have to accommodate him... Good! Look at the last 6 months. We can't do nothing! Drop whoever it takes to get us back winning again.

So just play Kasper on his own with Ndidi?

no way we're going down, we'll have a much better second half of the season i'm sure of it.

Yes, I'm sure the life you had in London was practically identical to the one a premier league footballer would live.

All I've said is what I've been told. Given the option, he would choose to stay put. If he signs for West Ham, I'm sure that will be because Hull aren't willing to give him that option because we're direct rivals. Don't blame them.

Rather us than swansea.

Yeah, despite Swansea's (fantastic) win against Liverpool I still think they'll do bloody well to escape relegation.

Rudkin gets a lot of stick but he only sanctions the transfers, he doesn't negotiate them

who does the deals then as recently Koeman said the transfers were slow due to steve walsh, and he's their DoF

He is actually a city fan through and through.....he gets an unfair amount of stick as he has learnt his trade the hard way through good times and bad. Maybe not everyone's cup of tea but personally having dealt with him in recent times he is good at his job and has the best of intentions for LCFC at heart.....might not be what people want to hear but imo it's true!

I am coming round to this now. If we do sign him, it's another creative player. Frees up a man and means Mahrez doesn't get double marked. If anything, that's a positive.
