Yeah, sitting  more than 140 days at the bottom of the table in

the 2014/15 season. Truly something to be proud of.

Could it be, that Kaspar and his buddies also didn't like to

play for NP?  Or was Nigel just so inept, that he needed a 30

games test run, before he knew, what the right formation was?

I was very proud of the way that team played

As have I. Even after we beat Man City, as good as that was, I still felt that it was a bit of a freak game where Pep got it so badly wrong and it papered over the cracks.

We started the season very hit and miss. Good at home but atrocious away. We have slowly gotten worse and worse and January was that bad it was hard to believe it was even a PL side, let alone one that have just won it.

I just don't buy this notion that it's all on the players. As well "Ranieri won them the title", does that not kind of work both ways?

The longer he's here the less chance we have of survival. It's sad but it's true.

Bang on. There was a lot of wait and see comments. This season has just been wrong from go. The tactics. The timing of our reactions. The fact it took us till December to realise that Andy King couldn't replace Kanye. Which, let's be honest was unfair on Andy King. Naturally, he is not a ball winger midfielder. He's an attacking midfielder who we asked to replace one of the best in the business.

It wasnt knee jerk. It was plain as day that the management alongside the players was not working. Now the January transfer window has passed. What would a new manager be able to do? If Simpson doesn't perform, who would he replace him with.

We waited to see, now what? We are in free fall and have been getting gradually worse throughout the season.

Not just the players whoever is responsible for recruitment as well.

Morgan & Huth were made to look better with the protection of Kante last season. He didn't really get replaced, we must have wanted a defender as we bid for Michael Keane not only did that not come to fruition the only defender we ended up signing was a free transfer from a team that finished 17th in the Spanish league.

He must have wanted another midfielder as we went in very late for Adrien Silva, why wait until the last day of the summer transfer window to make a move?

People can bitch & moan about the players not performing & I'll agree they haven't. But CR has been let down by people behind the scenes just as much. Also CR isn't blameless we say Vardy doesn't chase things down as much now but after Chelsea away it came out that Ranieri had told him not to and stand off players. Who's to say he isn't still telling him to do that?

Of course he is not blameless. But in contrast to the players, he

is willing to admit it. In public.

Sad and despite following our team for over 40 years it makes you question modern footballers.

I think his interview is a sign that he is trying to flush out some toxic players but if I was the Chairman I would get the bloody players together and tell them Claudio is staying whatever but I know that this might only make the situation worse.

Personally a bit of me would die if he has to walk or is sacked as I really believe that the players have completely let him down.

The last 18 months have been the best time as a fan in the clubs history and he has made mistakes but the club has got lots wrong too in trying circumstances as no other club has achieved what we did in this era and we made a pigs war of it.

However for me despite the best memories ever if Claudio has to exit every single player could leave for me and we could start again and I would not be fussed.

They have been nothing short of disgraceful and very sad to see him so isolated.

I'm with the manager on this one. He's called them out and put the ball in their court- if they aren't convinced by him go and tell the owners. Because if he goes and someone else comes in the excuse of not believing in the manager has gone and any subsequent poor results and performances are firmly on their shoulders. It's about time something was done because this shit cannot carry on.

Hiddink lifted Chelsea.. Admittedly they weren't in the position we find ourselves in though..

If we wait until we suffer defeats on Sunday and against Swansea then it's probably going to be too late...

Defeat on Sunday must signal the end of Ranieri and a new Manager at the helm to lift this team in a MUST WIN game against Swansea... Losing at Swansea is just unthinkable yet so inevitable if Ranieri is still here!

A horrible conundrum.

Disgraceful situation. I feel so sorry for the guy who has seen fit to defend the shower of shite that's turned up just for money. He's not just been let down, he's been totally gazumped by them.

You don't need to like a manager to wrok for them and perform well for them. However, to a certain extent you need to respect them but most important of all is that you need to believe in them. Believe in their philosophy of work, the direction in which they want to take you and believe in the methods they employ to get you there. Start to disbelieve in any of these and you start to lower your standards.
The start of the season wasn't too bad in comparison to now. The Charity Shield wasn't a bad performance, the wins over Swansea and Burnley were also quite good as was the win in Bruge and the performance against Porto at home. Not pretty but effective.
For me the alarm bells started to ring when he admitted that the players had asked to remain playing 4-4-2 when it clearly wasn't working. This showed two things, one that the players were stronger than the manager and secondly that the manager had probably tried to install a different philosophy but had not been able to convince the players this was the way to go. At this stage he has started to lose their belief in him. I can't recall when exactly he said those words but I'd like to know how our perfomances have gone since he did. That mixed with some strange tactical approaches and frankly weird substitutions in matches further undermined the player's belief in the manager.
Now we appear to have reached an impasse where the manager no longer knows how to get the team motivated and is unable to get them to change their approach and a team whose confidence in their manager is fast evaporating.
Ranieiri's latest comment shows the hallmarks of a man who is lost and unsure that his team is any longer on the same wavelength. Unless things change there can only be one end.

my manager is a complete and utter f*****t but i still work and perform well cuz he pays me 40 grand a year

The players last year said that keeping the same system in place was better for them rather than Ranieri change things, the fact they were allowed to do that alone speaks volumes, but it worked for us. Maybe we are seeing more of Claudio's imprint on this team, gradually losing our identity.

Sing our hearts out for the manager, then boo the shit out of the players when they put on the same shite display. Then sing for ranieri again straight after so the players and the media are under no illusions who we blame.  We would all have accepted winning the premier league thwn gwtting relegated before during and even after the great escape.

Lets win it for football again. We've built them up, now lets knock em down ans let them rot.

Weve been prepared for afc leicester before. Nows as bad a time as any.

I guess the top performers for last season who had a chance to leave were promised strengthening and ambition from the club. When the window closed who did they see  improving the first 11?  No doubt they then start to wonder if they did the right thing...

each section of the team benefited from Kante and without him look a lot weaker. Each of them will be looking at the others and  thinking Jesus they aren't as good as I thought they were...

new players coming in and being pretty much  hit and miss won't have helped the lads left on the bench who were there last season

most of them know they hit a miraculous pinnacle and know it won't happen again. Human nature dictates all of this stuff will have caused animosity and blame.

Sadly they arent looking inward and striving to improve personally. Instead they seem to be looking to pin the blame on the age old scapegoat the manager. One day I hope they will realise they let down one of the best men they ever encountered.

last chance saloon in the next 3 games to make amends

My dad and i were discussing ulloa when all the big contracts were being dished out. In hindsight it was mental rewarding even our star players so well. We didnt need hindsight to know that ulloa was never an 80k a week player.

And it sounds like he was a part of the reason the player s have turned. As far as the others, whay can the big nasty man possibly have said to them to justify the shite we are being served up.

**** em. Ranieri gave us what we never dared dream of. And these ***** want to tear it all down. We've already won football. Do your best ****ers. Time to drop the lot of them.

If they had played well enough we could have replaced the subs with better. Now no-one else wants to come to us because of you.

Suck it up sweethearts. You made your beds.

It's deeper than that.

Enlighten us, give us a clue. If you genuinely believe the players are right to down tools, someone tell us why and let us support them.

Doubt they will convince us though. Its going to have to be a good one to justify them feeding us the shite we get on the pitch.

To confirm. You are admitting that they are unhappy enough with claudio to stick the ultimate in 2 finger salutes to us the fans.

I cant wait to hear this one. It'll be better than pearsons autobiography

Yeah, it's absolutely ridiculous.

I could've told you years ago that Andy King isn't a good rapper.

What other word he supposed to use instead of 'think'?

I 'believe' we're still together?

I 'hope' we're still together?

I 'assume' we're still together?

We all know his English isn't the greatest, so I wouldn't read too much into it.

Thank fvck someone else actually recognises this. It's like some people have never actually heard him speak English before.

This is so sad if player power is dictating this demise. If so, where is their pride and where do their loyalties lie?  Yes Claudio has made mistakes that have puzzled us all, but players are very well paid to play their best on each and every occasion and train similarly. 100% each and every time. I would like to think it's not true but am not so sure. Those comments say a lot.

Something I pointed out very early on in it, but when ridicule and blame is on the agenda, rational thought is pointless. When you can keep your head and all that bollox
