bet Riyad turned up late to the meeting

No ranieri turned up at mahrez's doorstep with vardy skulking behind, head down, hands in pockets like a mardy child.

Vardy looked a little salty in that interview. But I can't believe a duo that had a lot of great moments from both sides (mahrez giving him the penalty and vardy hitting Williams to revenge mahrez) to vardy saying that the first thing that comes to mind when he thinks about mahrez is him being late ??

I'd be a bit peeved if I was them if it was just us two called for a meeting about out form when our problems stretch further than just them two

Agreed but on the other hand they're the biggest earners, by a fair stretch if to be believed, set an example.

I'm hoping this made a difference. It pains me to say this but I think in the case of Mahrez it's simply a player not wanting to be here anymore and being cordial about it. I think something happened sometime over the summer and since then he has been in a sour mood (I noticed it during the barcelona game over the summer during the offseason when Mahrez seemed like he just refused to play). Either way he's a professional and needs to get his head back on his shoulders and play at the level we know he can play at. With Vardy it almost looks like he hasn't taken care of his health and he's slower and less clinical than he used to be. Needs to get to the gym and start putting in more hours in training.

Perhaps just perhaps this maybe identified as part of the problem

I think it's quite obvious they don't really get on with eachother anymore

Mahrez doesn't seem to be passing to Vardy when he get's the chance, first time.

There was a shot during the win against Man City where Vardy was calling for the Team to celebrate with him.

The reaction from his band of brothers wasn't great

Even Kasper mentioned they needed clear the air talks but didn't elaborate on the who's and when.

These two working together for the Team is essential to us staying up

Just as much as the defence, midfield.

Or perhaps Mahrez wants to play with Slim............ who by the way is his best mate

Lovely... Just show us some action on the pitch lads  A Mahrez assist and Vardy's winning goal against Swans will do.

I'm still waiting and hoping they can form an attacking "menage a trois" with Slim. I'm very disappointed with Riyad-Slim partnership so far, I've expected them to gel straight away. What's taking them so long

To be fair, there have been at least 3 other occasions of these types of meetings this season, in addition to meetings with other key people. Let's just say it's the chairman who has been an influence in these meetings rather than the 3 individuals.

Not sure of what was spoken but I would like to see them play in a system where we play the ball on the floor rather than hoof ball.

watch both be on the bench Sunday!

Doubt it, like Morgan and Huth they'll be among the first names down on the teamsheet.

Needs some Mahrez magic and some Vardy varnish on Sunday please. The cameo Mahrez played on Wednesday was promising - his first touch, control, balance is sublime and that creates the space. A bit more of the last season performances would do nicely. We need Slim too too tray and get on to those panic clearances however his form away from King Power is **** - no goals I think.  Gray on one wing and Ndidi and Drinky in middle - sorted.

So much negativity.

it gives them a little bit extra incentive to perform, yes they shouldn't need it, yes their wages are big blah blah blah. This is a good thing

"I spoke to Shinji. He says he won't fall over anymore. He know how to change it, but I can't tell you," said Ranieri. "It's top secret.

there is something troubling about this report if true,,

how is that he is talking to them now - when the club is on the brink of relegation?
