I cant understand why claudio got a win against derby with a hugely changed team and a good performance that he would then revert back to the shower of shite that hasnt been playing well all season.

Wheres the ****ing logic in that claudio?

Makes no sense whatsoever.

Einstein said "the definition of insanity is trying the same thing over and over and expecting different outcomes"

Ita not ****ing rocket science.

Drinkwaters playing shit too.

He should have started with chilwell, amartey, benny and mendy instead of drinkwater, sack mahrez off too. Hes ****ing lazy. Makes ozil look like kante.

We should of just played the same team who beat derby couldn't do any worse gray was are only player that looked like creating anything why is vardy still playing he must of had a clause in his contact in the summer saying if fit he plays every game can only be the reason

Posted

Also the 1 big difference is we do not press anymore when someone interviews him like stringer they should ask him why his team doesn't press like they did last season

What was the tactical thinking: 2-0 down at half-time, so you bring on two full backs!

Ndidi, again, showed promise and we saw glimpses from Gray. Drinky started well, but petered out.

In our current predicament, why don't we pack the midfield with five (Drinky, Mendy, Amartey, Albrighton, Ndidi - with the latter playing the furthest forward as he has a shot on him and can be creative), with just Vardy up front. Try to keep it at 0-0, until say 66 minutes, and then bring on Mahrez, Slimani and Gray to try and win the game 1-0?

I hate to say this but Morgan and Vardy need to be dropped..

Morgan for looking like a kid lost in a shopping centre every time he gets a ball.

Bit harsh for Vardy but it's clear Vardy is the reason for this just hoof the ball to the front tactics..

No he's not..

he gets the ball..put it onto his right foot... looks up..& gggggently hoofs it always at a 45 degree angle - kind of a gentle loopy hoof towards up field

You wouldn't give Benny or Amartey a go?

Might have to play one of Morgan and Huth but not both. Slow and ruining all style of football

How about Amartey and Ndidi as the centre halves?

Players that stayed could have clauses in their contracts to ensure first team football.

Also utterly bemused at picking the same back 4 yet again despite abject performances. In fairness we could change it round and still be terrible but at least try something different

yep gotta agree - i said on another thread yesterday - if i see huth & morgan in the tunnel - it's goodnight

Unless we go out in games and give it a right go, we will continue to be picked off by teams punishing our mistakes.  Noone has to get out of first gear to beat us.

We're only any good at attacking the opposition, great escape showed that.

Like I said in the match thread, unless the manager changes, the results won't.  The players are not playing for CR, his tactics, his encourage ment etc just isn't working.   No time for sentiment, the club is bigger then anyone

A couple of weeks ago I was saying the defence was abysmal and the defence was the main source of the current problems, however due to recent results my opinion has completely been changed. Seeing as we've broken our 29 year non goal scoring record, the main problem is that we're not scoring,

nor creating enough goals. Don't get me wrong the defence is bad but once we go one down that's it, the ref might as well call it off because weren't not going to score. I don't know who's to blame for this but the fingers are going to be pointed at Vardy who's job it is to score goals and players like Drinkwater, Mahrez and Albrighton. I think the only way we can overcome this is changing

the way we play.

You have to look at those who are trying & showing any form. Therefore, need to put a team together around Schmeichel, Amarty, Chillwell, Ndidi, Grey ........... I can't even make half a team. They're a bloody disgrace the majority of them.

The only one I'd be disappointed to go is Mahrez and that's only because of the sheer joy of watching him for the last 3 years or so. The rest of them Champions or not can bugger off.

CR has tried formations, he is reluctant to change the backline and always plays Vardy.....Sorry to state the obvious, but we can see where the problem lies?

Not one of these players was signed by Ranieri.

He inherited them all from Pearson.

I find it interesting to see, that Ranieri is now blamed

for being too loyal to Pearson's boys.

In any normal team the build up begins with the defense. When you have 4 incredibly limited players at the back who simply hoof that fvcking bomb as far away as they can, resulting in the opposition immediately regaining ball possession, you can't expect to buid up any decent attack. Even more so when the midfield (yes Drinkwater, I'm looking at ya) doesn't do his job. We're not playing at Premier League level and honestly that would be just as much to maintain us in the top half of the Championship.

The forwards and attacking midfielders are simply fed up with running for naught and dealing with suicide passes. You have to have played forward to understand how pointless, frustrating and energy consuming it is to try to catch these dumb passes, game in game out. As long as we have that back four and a midfield (bar Ndidi) that refuses to take responsibility, our way of playing won't change.

He did fail to strengthen though.

Exactly there is the problem. He has to play them because they are all largely better than the absolute dross signed under his management. They are also the basis of the team that last season won the league. Whatever Pearson's faults he managed to develop squad that worked and played their hearts out for each other. Ranieri seems unable to do this at the moment. Our squad is unbalanced and the management didn't recruit where we obviously needed to.

That's rubbish. Would you credit the title win to Pearson also on that analysis? If he is (in your opinion) wrongly blames for Pearsons "boys". Than surely, Pearson should be given the credit for last year (WHICH IS WRONG).

18 months has passed since Pearson left. These are now his boys.
