Recall James

The clue is in the words "in the championship" I guess, I like him a lot but apparently he's still a little way off being up to match fit for Premier League.

Not sure if his agreement includes a recall or whether it's a season long (remainder of) agreement in which case it's a non-starter. I don't think we're short on midfield options, but James was excellent before his injury so if he has gained fitness and available then why not?

Can't see Ranieri doing it, he's stubborn and seemed to decide he doesn't like Matty. Maybe if we are deep in the muck a few games down the line?

Personally I'm hoping Ndidi and Drinks will do the business for us.

even if we could recall, I'm pretty sure he's not registered so we wouldnt be able to play him regardless

He came on vs Man City?

Doubt it's the case he doesn't like him he prob hasn't seen him play much in the flesh

He's been injured for over a year

Ranieri can't give him serious minutes to get match fit while we're fighting for survival - 3 mins at the end of games is of no real benefit to the team or james

It's in both parties interests for him to go out on loan play full games at a lower levelget  his match sharpness and then we can assess him properly in the summer

Very true, just feel desperate as vardys service has been poor this season although drinky is working hard its just not working for me in the final third, they seem clueless about opening up defences and aren't snappy with the ball like last year

Can't see why they would. Neither are what I'd call creative. Okay individually at their best but not creative and not the greatest passers either from what I've seen lately.

He'll be ready for next season when he may have the inside information on the trams we may be playing

So will Lawrence

Just a little light relief people I'm not serious

Never realised he was on our books, would explain last season though

Yeah, we did a swap deal for Robbie Coltrane though in the summer. #Ruddersout.

Another irrelevant thread ........

No offence but why start these when there are so many reasons it actually can't happen.

My apologies I didn't realise he hadn't been registered. Must remember to follow your example an only start good threads.

Good lad!

actually I started a shite one only last week!

i think starting from the basis that no loan agreements are recallable is a good start

He's got the technical ability, but problem is he's too slow to keep up with the pace that the PL can bring unfortunately.

He would be a great signing for the likes of Hull, Sunderland etc, but, despite his promising displays for Barnsley, we should be looking to strengthen and try and replace him for another gem like Ndidi.
