Ian Nacho Posted 25 February 2017 Posted 25 February 2017 I'm just getting sick and tired of the media such as these pundits saying it's a disgraceful decision to get rid of Claudio, also the papers reporting that our players wanted Ranieri to be sacked and that they went to the owners several times to get him sacked, I doubt this happened very much. Yes the owners probably had a discussion with senior players regarding the current situation, which you have to admit isn't in good shape at the moment, and based on the current goings on in the club based on the players information the owners or whoever made the decision decided it was time for a change. The media is not only brainwashing outsiders to think the worst of our players, they're also brainwashing our own fans. Get behind the lads for Christ sake, when we stayed up two seasons ago the fans were a vital part of that and we need every single fan on the players side. Regardless if it was the right decision or not, unless you've been going to games like, Swansea away, Southampton away, Milwall away and so on nobody, whether you're a fan of the club or not, will fully understand how bad it's been. From my opinion Claudio has made my dream come true and I will always love him for that but at the end of the day there was only one place we were going under him and that was the championship as nothing was showing me that we were improving.
FoxInTheBirstallBox Posted 25 February 2017 Posted 25 February 2017 Thank **** finally with sense, the owners are putting the club first. Who gives a toss what other fans think!?!?

Guest the fox Posted 25 February 2017 Posted 25 February 2017 This is pretty much in a lot of the English media. They build you up so they can knock you down. They do it with, teams, young English players and even the national team. I'm not even English and I get mad because they do things like that.
Brainy Posted 25 February 2017 Posted 25 February 2017 Le Tissier and Paul Merson asked who will get relegated LT: Someone, someone, Leicester PM: Someone, someone, Leicester *Leicester sack their manager" Le Tissier and Paul Merson: ISHFBAYUHAUFILAHFILESJKNSBUKYFAHLFSLFHUESLJFS DISGRACE NMUIFJKNELKFSEJ DISGUSTING
FoxInTheBirstallBox Posted 25 February 2017 Posted 25 February 2017 I don't like what Karen Brady is doing at West ham but I'm not ringing radio stations and insulting the owners and players personally wishing ill fortune to them Because we won the league people want us to fail, it's typical English media, everyone loves an underdog and the second they actually win something they turn against them We are leicester fans and the real fans will realise they are putting the club first, noone is bigger than the club. Anyone who thinks otherwise can piss off

Soar Fox Posted 25 February 2017 Posted 25 February 2017 Paul Merson has been on fire this afternoon. First of all he said "I don't think it's a good job, it's not a Crystal Palace where they had decent players like Zaha, Cabaye, Benteke" Ok Paul what about Vardy, Mahrez, Gray Then he said "they should test the water with Hull and try to get Marco Silva" Marco Silva the man he tore into when Hull announced him for, not being English, only managing Sporting Lisbon & Olympiakos.

You wouldn't get as much laughs from Paul Merton.
RowlattsFox Posted 25 February 2017 Posted 25 February 2017 As much as I love ranieri, he has played the media perfectly. A title winning team does not fall out with their manager for no reason, and I'm not having it's just because they are earning too much money.
Tally Ho Foxes Posted 25 February 2017 Posted 25 February 2017 These pundits are all hypocrites. They've ridiculed Ranieri for most of his managerial career and certainly ridiculed his appointment at Leicester. Two faced tosses the lot of em.
daverollo Posted 25 February 2017 Posted 25 February 2017 There are a lot of thick people who have made a living out of football, maybe, just maybe Merson falls into that category
Guest the fox Posted 25 February 2017 Posted 25 February 2017 They all love you, until you are back-hand slapping the mucus out of them in the league, then and only then, you become the big bad wolf instead of the underdog. Like two face said:

They must spend at least 80% of the time talking absolute drivel. Merson is the worst, seems to have made a career out of getting foreign player's names - how ****ing hilarious.
Mease Posted 25 February 2017 Posted 25 February 2017 Crowd pleasing rhetoric from the media, grow some nads and say it how it is. Its a sad time because something had to happen. If people said things like this they would lose twitter follows though. Bring back Rodney Marsh Frauds !
Brooksy Posted 25 February 2017 Posted 25 February 2017 The media in this country is ****ing toxic and the fact so many people fall for it is even more worrying. It'll die down in a few days but the lack of football knowledge shown is actually embarrassing. A lot of the stuff is quite funny to read but some of it is just unbearable.
yorkie1999 Posted 25 February 2017 Posted 25 February 2017 And they'll be there on Monday night trying to get fans thoughts intentionally picking on the old biddies trying to get a story that plucks at the heart strings of the nation.
Brainy Posted 25 February 2017 Posted 25 February 2017 Also how everybody shits on whatever the Sun decides to print. Today they claim to name 4 players that did something or other (i never bothered reading it) and the general reaction is "omg how awful!" "i don't usually believe you but because of my Ranieri cap I am sure this story you have printed is true"
Hammo Posted 25 February 2017 Posted 25 February 2017 Merson is the worst specimen of today's brainless broadcast media that cherishes clown pundits like him, Savage, Kamara etc. He is nothing but an ex-drunk with an addled mind and a malevolent agenda who spouts bullshit for a living and cannot abide that little old Leicester won the title. Ignore him.
Blue ROI Posted 25 February 2017 Posted 25 February 2017 Sky have been an absolute disgrace in how they have covered this. Fair enough if you can find people who don't agree with the sacking but they have not entertained even one person who agrees with it. The lack of balance towards the whole thing is outrageous.I wouldnt have been a big Chris Sutton fan but at least he didn't tow the party line wrt Leicester last weekend.
Koke Posted 25 February 2017 Posted 25 February 2017 Another myth that's doing the rounds is if Ranieri finished 15th last season he'd still be in a job Swansea and Palace finished around there and they've sacked their managers this season. Swansea have sacked 2. Lots of drivel and media witch hunt against our club. No analysis. No stats. Just a lot of emotional garbage.
Mease Posted 25 February 2017 Posted 25 February 2017 Anyone see Soccer AM dragging Matt Elliott on to the show. Trying to drag his condemnation of the club and owners out of him and to try and get him to criticise the players. Good on him, he would not give it though.
