Did we finish 433 yesterday after Mahrez and Okazaki were subbed? Or was it it 442 still with Gray moving to the left wing and Albrighton on the right?

Sevilla must be quaking in there boots.

Fantastic performance once again under the Shake.

Not listening to some on here. You would think he had got us relegated.

Seems the knives are already being sharpened by some on here for Shakey.

Looked like 4-4-1-1

With Vardy playing behind Slimani with his sole job being to put pressure on their back 4/midfield

Deserves a shot especially now he know this team more any other manager and has been loyal to the club... give him it till the end of the season at least, deserves it!

We need to keep our feet on the ground, and go into each game full of confidence.

I'm not sure that's true - if our players could fly I think that would be a significant advantage.

This place is unfknbelievable, I'm now seeing Shakeys credentials and ability being questioned when we are only 2 games in on his temporary tenure.

I see the following positives:

He knows the players inside out.

The players appear to respect and respond to him.

He conducts himself very well in press situations.

With simple changes and belief he has restored our team to the style of our Championship winning team.

A massive 6 points from his first 2 games with +4 goal difference!

The whole feel and atmosphere around the club lifted.

For those of you starting to doubt him does that mean noone will or should progress from No2 ?

I will also ask if any of you remember the tremendous achievemeets of the Liverpool teams of the 70s & 80s it was a Boot room promotion formula which produced some of the greatest managers!

Minimum we need to give Shakey is to end for season and if him and his players produce the goods then make it permanent.

To be fair, Vardy 'leapt like a Salmon' to score his header against Liverpool. I guess that's not strictly flying though?

Was not slim a target before CR as well? And I still think Mendy will be great for us. I still say we need to judge the new players from now on. Not on games when everyone was sh1te.

Good point, so that'll be the whole season then............. apart from a week between Feb and March that is

Oh, I nearly forgot Man City and some Europe performances..... sorry

Yep we move forward and if CS uses them let's give them a chance

I really feel a big part of our mini revival under Shakespeare is down to how we start games. Both games we've come racing out of the traps and haven't given Liverpool or Hull the chance to settle. OK we conceded first against Hull but that was only down to an individual mistake against the run of play. Before that we could and probably should have scored a couple.

Having Vardy running at defenders before they've had a feel for the game is a good weapon to have.

Also the difference in the back 4 is staggering compared to the rest of the season, look so much more comfortable

Agree with you about coming out the traps. This has been so apparent last two games.

Again though, I think the thing about the back four looking different is the same as last season..attack is the best form of defence. Under Claudio we'd dropped so deep, it just encouraged teams to push onto us and of course, we caved. We filled the side with DM's, had little outlet and just played to try not to concede.

It was rubbish. This now is much better. We are less deep and having a proper go.

Yeah definitely.

I know you love a defensive mid Col so what's your early impression of Ndidi?

I'm not sure he is mate? I know that's how he was 'sold' if you like, but I see him more as a box to box center midfielder. He's got defensive presence, for sure (good in the air, strong tackler) but is also a good footballer. He can keep the ball, give it and go and pick a pass. Really pleased with him so far.

No he's not just a defensive mid but I'd say he's our main tackler. Showing so much promise for such a young lad. Our best signing since Kante for sure

What I love about our performances against Liverpool and Hull is we look full of confidence again and like we know we can win games.

I just hope this isn't our 'Unternehmen Wacht am Rhein'...

I hope not too. for Shakey's sake. Lets hope our leaders have a slightly better grip on reality than a strung-out pychopathic ubermensch. ;)

LCFC, what a rollercoaster ride...
