Also credit where credits due, normally known for his stinkers, Mike Dean had a good game today.

Looks like one of the few refs who did today!

Two hull players pulled back our player two times. No yellow card. Drinky does it, yellow card.

From not knowing where the next points - or even goals - were coming from two weeks ago, to two full-throttle performances, two successive wins and six goals. Can't fault the owners for parting with Ranieri.

What? Let them off big time, two stone wall yellows and didn't book them. Let them away with it all day after that.

Suppose there was inconsistency, just thought that compares to his previous games he didn't cause too much trouble and spotted some good fouls such as the pulling back in the first half.

Agree they should have had some yellows.

Vardy was also blocked just outside the penalty box at the end of the first half. He was nothing more then mediocre. Considering his usual rubbish this was probably an improvement.

Fair enough, suppose I didn't pick up on the incidents mentioned

I think a lot of the 'sitting back' second half was caused by tired legs. Apart from the first five minutes of the second half, Hull didn't threaten to create anything of note until after Mahrez' goal. Even then, we seemed content to let them get difficult crosses in, which Morgan and Huth were dealing with comfortably.

This was no different last season.

To Hull's credit, they were committing men forward and keeping a wide shape and did an OK job of keeping the ball moving, but they lacked any cutting edge.

As I mentioned earlier in the thread, Hull were not that bad really.

I didn't think Hull looked too bad either. Infact compared to how they were playing under Phelan, I think Silva's done a good job. I hear his contract is up at the end of the season. He may be the kind of long term manager the owners could be looking for, if (a big if) they don't want to give Shakey the job beyond this season.

One of those posts you regret? :)

Great result and performance. For me we have so much more fluidity going forward than I've seen all season apart from moments home against Burnley. Mahrez, Vardy, Albrighton and Sinj just flew at them.

Also... what makes the result better for me, is that I actually thought Hull were decent. they counterattacked well and the chance in the second half when it came of the post was a great effort.

It's just great to see positive football from a committed, organised team again. We can't undo the badwill of Ranieri's sacking but we can look to make the best of the situation and I've really enjoyed these two games. Players have taken responsibility, we're trying to play far more football than in the previous six games and there's character again now.

Again, not perfect, we're not safe at all but given where we were this time last week it just feels so much better around the place. Need to keep going now and not let standards slip.

Silva has as much experience in the Prem as Ndidi has. It would present a pretty big risk, but I don't think the idea of him coming here sounds too far fetched (depending on the job he does at Hull).

Great win - gritty. Could have done without Swansea scoring though.

Way we're playing now we should only be looking up the table at the teams above us, and if they lose it's a good thing!

Watch the Liverpool and hull peformances and in particular the players' reactions when we've scored/won the game. Tell me they don't care.

2 wins out of 2, get a result at West Ham and suddenly our season could look entirely entirely different. Up the Leicester

GIVE THAT MAN THE JOB

....Until the end of the season then we will have a much greater pool of candidates to choose from. I like Shaky but I don't want him cutting his managerial teeth on us

Worrying isn't it? Pearson left nearly 2 years ago and 10 of the 11 starters today were signed by him.

EDIT: I always forget Schmeichel was signed by Sven.

Credit to Hull thought they looked alright, although very little quality in the final third.

On aside note If they go down and we stay up I would be in for Harry Maguire, though he was excellent at the back.

Do we really need to make comments like this. He gave us our best season ever. None of us know what's gone on. The players could have been cvnts it could have been CR's fault we don't know for sure.

But that comment is needless and disrespectful of a great man grow up.

lollol he's already cutting them. CR lost the dressing room for whatever reason we don't know. Shakey has them playing again. So if he keeps us up with games to spare you would rather risk another than Shakey?

I hope our owners take no notice of you.

Ranieri shouldn't get all the blame for the bad signings.

Musa was definitely a Steve Walsh pick.
