I love the fact that we seem to be chasing it, going for the win even when we are behind.

It would be fascinating to know what Shakespeare has that Ranieri didn't. But whatever the reason, he has to have the job at least until the end of the season.

Well, him or Neil Walnutt.

The respect of the players.

Clearly he has that, but there must be more: why are they playing with real fight now, when for most of the season they looked like they couldn't give a flying one.

Not that it matters in the great scheme of things, but just interesting.

Thought that their centre back, Maguire, looked useful

He is huge. Keep eye on him and Keane for the end of the season.

It's interesting but back when Pearson was in charge - both the season we won promotion and the great escape season in the PL - there were a lot of interviews with Shakespeare on the LCFC channel.

It's becoming clear that he's had a far more influential role than we might have initially thought...

Honestly? Disappointed there wasn't this attitude from the players under him: a couple of weeks ago if we'd gone behind against the run of play the heads would have just plummeted and we'd have at best scraped a 1-0 defeat.

Players aren't able to turn it on overnight just like that.

The performances are identical to the back wnd of the 14/15 season and last season, there was clearly something wrong within the club and with performances improved and everyone looking happier/settled it can only fall to one person.

There is more to the game in regards to how a team set set up and play, it's not just a case of players just deciding they want to play now.

Goal against the run of play, great to see the character of the team is bad.

Hope the dicks on social media have crawled back under their rocks, hard decision by the owners, but proving to be right, 3 weeks ago, we have lost that 2/3-0

Not just about effort, we're playing with cohesion and keeping it on the deck.

Anyway, we can we move on from what ifs now and just back Shakey and the team and enjoy the wins?

I didn't say effort. I said attitude - we've gone one goal behind with regularity in the last few months and every time the players heads have dropped and they've resorted to just hoofing it away and aiming to lose by one at best. Today they didn't let conceding crush them, stayed composed and played our way back into it.

I'm greedy so can't help but think of the season we could have had playing like the last two games.

Are they more fired up for the Sevilla match now though - eager to get back to winning ways after a season of shite?

And Ndidi has been a great boon - something we didn't have at the start of the season.

Yep. Teams just sensed our fear...Hull would have smelt blood, had we played them then.

We weren't able to string two passes together for pretty much the entire season and didn't get out of our own half when we were out of possession. For me... I never saw the players shirking tackles or walking around not giving a shit like Villa and Newcastle of previous years. We've just played horrible football and the manager couldn't inspire any confidence.

Team selection was spot on. Performance was full of energy, fight and desire. Substitutions were sensible and both had an impact. No doubt Shakespeare will get the job now and rightly so. Going into that Sevilla game, we're a different proposition all together for them!

An aggregate 6-2 win for the week and six vital points represents a massive vote of confidence from the players to Shakespeare and reward for the guy's positivity in responding to our crisis and his own opportunity.

I don't have the slightest doubt this wouldn't have happened without the owners decision to dispense with Ranieri and to hear the chanting of "We've Got Our Team Back" must have been rousing to both players and fans.

Mahrez emphasised once again that it's the incomparable brilliance of what sets him apart rather than his general play which demonstrates his value because few could have scored his goal today - the goal which finally put us in the position to win - and it made all the indifference of the rest of his contribution count for nothing.

It was nice too to see N'didi involved in another goal for all that it wasn't credited to him and so too Fuchs who showed, not for the first time this week, how capable he is of providing atacking support when given the licence, this time with our opening goal but also with further threat.

Although clearly the better side, Kasper still had to be alert enough to make one difficult yet vital save and with Alrbighton man of the match, Drinky back to his best, our first back-to-back wins of the season and everyone contributing a worthwhile shift it really emphasised that Leicester City are back, the team is reunited and our club is wearing a smile again.

For me it crowned a perfect day - golf tournament win in the morning and victorious tribute to attacking football in the afternoon. Happy days.

Fair enough, but I don't think we resorted to hoofing only after conceding this season, but totally agree, we stayed totally composed.  Lovely to see!

Massive result showed great character to come back from one down. Shakey has earned the gig at least till the end of the season now surely

Right. Hopefully this result and performance can put a few things to bed:

1. We WERE absolutely right to get rid of Claudio. It should have happened sooner.

2. We DONT want to wake up over the next few days to find that we've appointed Roy Hodgson as the manager. Give it to Shakey, until the end of the season.

3. Jamie Vardy IS still a good striker

Well chuffed today. Under Ranieri, when we went one down, our heads would have dropped and we'd have probably lost. Today, under Shakey, the opposite happened.

Great interview from Shakespeare on sky, not phased and said he is sitting down next week to discuss.

no brainier he gets the job nobody better qualified to guide us to the end of the season.

Him and Robertson are two I'd take from Hull if they do go down !

Don't think Robertson would come here, to play LB with Fuchs/Chilwell already competing for that position. However when I've seen him play I've always thought he could be converted to a winger to replace Schlupp & compete with Albrighton.
