Ive seen loads of managers piss about with 15 different new players and 4 systems in friendlies. Get to the tournament, still have no clue, play shit, and its back to square one again. Why? The players that played at the last tournament were given ages to play together and gel and they failed big time. It's only right that new players are tried.
Brooksy Posted 22 March 2017 Posted 22 March 2017 When will Hoddle slag Vardy off then? Ill go for 9th min

Vacamion Posted 22 March 2017 Posted 22 March 2017 You get the feeling that Vardy is never going to get one of those penalties ever again.
MC Prussian Posted 22 March 2017 Posted 22 March 2017 Typical Vardy moment - searching the contact. Some referees "fall" for it, I hear them say....
AKCJ Posted 22 March 2017 Posted 22 March 2017 IMO (and this is probably bias)... the keeper does come flying out and gets nowhere near the ball. As much as Vardy looks for the contact and goes down, it's a pen.

Lloris Dier Alderweireld Vertonghen Walker Dembele Wanyama Rose Eriksen Kane Alli Whenever I've watched them on MOTD it says it's a 4-2-3-1 that's all I'm basing it on. They prob mix it up. Either way I think Alli is better behind the striker pushing into the box.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 22 March 2017 Posted 22 March 2017 Not being funny but ter stergen did miss the ball and took out the player.. Very dramatic from Vardy but there isn't much difference between that and the peno given against sevilla...
RowlattsFox Posted 22 March 2017 Posted 22 March 2017 I think it's a pen, he's looking for it but that doesn't always mean it's not a pen. He probably gets more contact if he doesn't jump over him though.
Vacamion Posted 22 March 2017 Posted 22 March 2017 Just a thought, but if Vardy does a legbreaking tackle and sees red, what does he get banned from? Just international fixtures? I am worrying about possible effects of this game on City's season. That, and controversy is never far from our Jamie...

MrSpaM Posted 22 March 2017 Posted 22 March 2017 Vardy clearly been told not to press Swear England are just trying to ruin him

It's only right that new players are tried. Because in the lead up to the last tournament, loads of players were tried and then sacked off when the tournament came around. We played at least 3 systems too, the diamond that won the game v Germany which was completely meaningless because we moved away from it after, we played 4-3-3 at times and it was dross. We arrived at the tournament with no defined style or settled team and were shit, which we have been for about 4 tournaments running. Are we going to play 3-4-3 for a number of games after tonight?
trabuch Posted 22 March 2017 Posted 22 March 2017 Hoddle "That's really good defending from England" as they pass the ball to Germany.
AKCJ Posted 22 March 2017 Posted 22 March 2017 "Have you ever seen a German win a war? Have you ****".
AKCJ Posted 22 March 2017 Posted 22 March 2017 Surreal moment then. A Leicester City player is playing with the number 9 shirt upfront for England away at Germany. Stuff like that makes me realise how far we've come.
