shen Posted 29 April 2017 Share Posted 29 April 2017 Ding's safety play/snooker shots are unbelievable. The stuff he pulled out of the hat in the previous frame was stunning!

kingfox Posted 29 April 2017 Author Share Posted 29 April 2017 A classic which deserved a decider really. Part of me wanted Ding to win, supporting Mark all the way from now on though

Nalis Posted 30 April 2017 Share Posted 30 April 2017 Selby is so effective and is like the Chelsea (circa 2015) of snooker and will beat Higgins in a final which probably wont go down as a classic. For example, everytime he goes for a long shot he ensures he's safe. Its not boring, its just very clever play. He's the best player in the world right now albeit not as easy on the eye as Ding, O'Sullivan, Trump, etc.
foxfanazer Posted 30 April 2017 Share Posted 30 April 2017 G'won Mark! Think he'll win fairly comfortably judging on Higgins performance in the Semi final
isaidno Posted 30 April 2017 Share Posted 30 April 2017 if Higgins wins, surely it's a record for the amount of time between first and last titles.

Think he'll win fairly comfortably judging on Higgins performance in the Semi final I can only imagine Hawkins general awful play brought Higgins level down. Higgins was much better against Wilson, where he had to be to win. I'm expecting an interesting final, assuming John hasn't bet against himself? Harry - LCFC Posted 30 April 2017 Share Posted 30 April 2017 While we're waiting for this to start - a bit of fun - what's everyone's highest break? I'm sitting on a modest 19 which I've made twice.

purpleronnie Posted 30 April 2017 Share Posted 30 April 2017 I know I'm on my own here but I've never understood grown men wearing football shirts unless they are going to a game or playing in one.

Like when people wear them to gigs. Fair play do what you want but I've never understood it.

Needs to stay in touch and use then build from there.

Harry - LCFC Posted 30 April 2017 Share Posted 30 April 2017 Yeah the Cov guy is always there, always in the corner next to the player's seat. It's like he's trying to get on TV.
EastAnglianFox Posted 30 April 2017 Share Posted 30 April 2017 His whole attitude seemed very strange that session, spent more time smirking and looking up at his family than he did potting balls. Higgins not been great yet finds himself 6-2 up.
