I just want to say that I could live with the disappointment of the transfer failing if I have to... but in no way would the signing of ross barkley make up for it.

I've pretty much decided this isn't happening now, there's too much messing around going on - if he was desperate to be here he'd have put the pressure on to get it done asap - and that hasn't happened, we keep hearing this is now sorted, or medicals done - or whatever - but yet still nothing is happening. Problem is if we don't get him we are back to square one after weeks of work to try and bring him in  frustrating to say the least.

Relax mate. Pep Guardiola said himself that the transfer should be sorted in the 'next 10 days' and that was 7 days ago so hopefully it'll be done by Monday. No idea why it would take that long but there's nothing to suggest it's broken down or whatever.

yeah it was from one of Pep's press conferences, said should be within 7-10 days, also confirmed the existence of a buy back clause

When the 10 days is up and he's still not signed, Pep will be asked what's happened at his next press conference and he will reply 'i meant 10 working days'

Dead deal?

I'm not paying the itchy nacho any more attention until he's on EMT or LCFC.com in our shirt

What a sorry state for a 20yr old ManCity sub to be in

Sporting news says it is a done deal - 25m

Leicester City have agreed a £25 million deal with Manchester City for Kelechi Iheanacho, with his medical pencilled in for Friday.

The Foxes revealed the Nigeria international had agreed to join the former English champions having endured a tough time at Etihad Stadium.

Club’s vice chairman, Aiyawatt Srivaddha-naprabha claimed that Iheanacho looks set to join his compatriots Ahmed Musa and Wilfred Ndidi having clarified dispute concerning the player’s image right.

“A fee has been agreed, only the medical to go, and it could be as early as Friday,’’ he told BBC Leicester Radio.

The Super Eagles forward scored four goals in 20 appearances last season, after falling out of favour with Pep Guardiola.

If he comes through his medical, Iheanacho is expected to pen a four-year deal with the King Power Stadium side.

Also, he will become Leicester’s fifth signing of the summer following the arrival of Harry Maguire, Sam Hughes, Vicente Iborra and Eldin Jakupovic.

Craig Shakespeare’s men have returned from their Premier League Asia Trophy campaign in Hong Kong, and are set for a thread of further pre-season friendlies.

Ian Stringer claims this is false, and Aiyawatt had never been on the show - as posted in the Iheanacho transfer thread.
