If there's a few queens been hibernating in there from the start of winter then the sudden increase in warmth can tempt them out, fooling them into thinking it's spring.

Would fully recommend this. Mrs got me one for xmas. Brilliant bit of kit. I can set it up in 5 minutes for a game, the board disappears out of sight when not in use for her.
